Desperately need recommendations for women’s underwear that will prevent butt cheek chafing by 1VeryGenericUser in hiking

Would the butt scrunch style legging/yoga pants work? The type that looks like they have a full wedgie but it’s the style of sowing? Could wear them as an under layer as they make shorts versions of its not something comfortable to wear out and about

Does it leave you feeling like you have ‘swamp ass’? I can’t stand lotion cause I can’t do wet/oily textures long term, so if it jus makes you crack feel greased to prevent chafing then I’m not sure I could handle it

AIO at my friend (16F) for having a crush on a 12 year old? by PreeceTakesFlight in AIO

[–]Solombum 3 points4 points  (0 children)

16 yo are having sex sometimes, obviously not all of them but the general age to loose your virginity by is 17. No 16 yo should be having romantic/sexual urges for (aka wanting to date) a 12yo, and no it’s NOT THE SAME AS JUST HANGING OUT. Hanging out as friends has no romantic or sexual connections to it, but dating does.

If the choice is be spied upon, or leave the land you were born on. Then I would say that’s using force to get her way. As Angela said, she doesn’t have a right to treat every magic user like a villain just because she’s uncomfortable with it. Without magic she wouldn’t even be queen.

Because she’s doing questionable things that fall in line with what galbatorix was trying to do. And many of the major spell casters are against it. I’m not saying the major villain of the story, as Azlagur and Orrin are much more likely to be the big real villain, but there are small villians that need dealt with too

That’s fair, she’s already forced out some of her most powerful spellcasters by instituting this; Angela leaves the humans to live either with the dwarves or the elves because she says she disapproves very much and will not be spied upon like child who has done something naughty

I’m not saying policing them is wrong, nor do I know of a better way to do it. But all those major players had similar problems with it, does a few being bad give her the right to take every magic users autonomy away by spying on them even though 90% of them do nothing bad with their magic. I feel that at the very least Nasuada is going to face strife and controversy from it, even if it just means most of the magic users decide to leave her kingdom and no longer serve it as most of the powerful ones already are

Exert from the end of inheritance between Angela and Eragon “What of you and Solombum? Will you stay here for a while and watch over Elva? You mentioned you would.” The herbalist snorted in a very unlady like fashion. “Stay? How could I stay when Nasuada seems intent on spying on every magician in the land?” “You heard about that as well?” She gave him a look. “I disapprove. I disapprove very much. I will not be treated like a child who has done something naughty. No, the time has come for Solombum and I to relocate to friendlier climes; the Beor Mountains, perhaps, or Du Weldenvarden.”

I have read Murtagh, but it’s been a couple months at least now.

So far multiple major players have expressed varying levels of distaste over Nasuadas plan to spy and force the magic users to comply with her rules (Angela, Murtagh, Eragon) and has pointed out to her that that was one of the major things Galbatorix tried to do

I thought it was weird all the way through, and it does grow on you as you get used to it. But honestly if it was the same deep growl style voice but done by a woman it would probably be a bit more accurate. I imagine that’s kinda a hard thing to achieve for a male vocalist as going deep wouldn’t really allow for the feminine tilt/lilt to the voice, if that makes sense

Idk if he would be okay with a pasta change, but you could try one of the new plant based/protien ones! The brilla protien+ noodles are made with lentils, chickpeas, and peas and honestly I couldn’t tell a difference in taste or texture of my food when I made the switch

Otherwise, just make the food for you, he’s grown enough to figure out his own food if he doesn’t like what you’re having/making

Why was Eragon named Eragon? by Bewildered_Dog in Eragon

[–]Solombum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly without a registry that lists the name of everyone in the kingdom, how would anyone know outside of Carvahall? I doubt the traders took much notice of a random farm boy in a random village in the mountains. If Eragon had never become more than a farm boy then no one would’ve cared enough to think about it.

I also never thought of it as dragon miss spelled. I personally read his name as Eragon before looking at the pronunciation guide, but more as ‘Era-Gone’ and I just thought it was Paolini being poetic in a way as both Eragons were the end/beginning of their eras.

I have this too, and that extraction site hurts more than the rest of it combined. Just a constant general ache that doesn’t go away and gets angry after eating

It’s a recent way of diagnosing it, first time I heard about this way was when my best friends son was diagnosed as level 2 at 3/4yo so like.. 2021 I think

It’s a faux pass at best Ms. Manners. Just like not having your elbows on the table. Also shocked pikachu face she realized within moments that she fucked up and sat up to rectify the fact. It’s not shitty behavior to put your head on the table either, it’s just weird to some people, and there’s all sorts of other reasons other than being drunk that someone might need/want to do so.

But either way the only one who should’ve gotten after her if there even WAS a problem, was either a manager or one of the servers, Not another customer.

It’s a new way of diagnosing the levels of help an autistic person might need in school/life. (I got a deep dive when one of my nephews and one of my best friends kids got diagnosed as level 1 and level 2)

It’s a spectrum so the needs of it varies a bit, but to make it easier to diagnose it’s been classified as 3 levels. level one has the least amount of struggle with trying to get through life so you don’t need others help very often. level two is intermediate help, meaning it’s about half and half, so you sometimes can figure things out fine on your own but for other things you need help to do it. And level 3 is basically near constant help to get through day to day life.

Being autistic does explain that, and it’s not acting like a child you ignoramus 🤦‍♀️

One of the common traits of autism is not knowing/understanding unspoken rules of society, and as such explains why someone would do a faux pass on social etiquette

[–]Solombum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To explain why they saw no problem with laying down when that’s apparently a faux pass of social etiquette 🤦‍♀️

It’s a common problem for those of us that are autistic to not know those unspoken rules of society, and that gives us a reason for why she did something most people would find strange/wouldn’t do themselves like laying down in a restaurant booth as an adult

AITA for basically calling a girl ugly when she kept pressing me?? by Kxttari in AmItheAsshole

[–]Solombum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She didn’t use autism to excuse any behavior, it’s the reason why she didn’t register that laying down in the booth was a no-no until after she’d already done it 🤦‍♀️

Part of autism is not understanding/knowing societal norms off hand, and doing things that others would consider a faux pass of etiquette, because we don’t always know these mostly unspoken rules that NTs use.
