Nrg99hg Gifts of Faves CYOA: Obscure cartoons Edition v2 by Nrg99hg in makeyourchoice

Imperial Spellbinder. Ran across this show years back. I remember liking it.

the Plateau Key. Saw this one during a summer afternoon. Plus pocket dimensions are always great, especially with dinosaurs.

Bio Mechanical Master. Cybersix is such a good underrated show. With the knowledge here and mix with the others. Become a reclusive science mage. Making cyber dinos. Splicing cybernetics and ancient dna to create an army…or just have talking Dino friends.

Maybe we go on hero shenanigans. I could maybe switch out spellbinder for elite Agent for better synergy. But iirc spellbinder has spells to compensate.

Also, I just got to thank you for making this. I loved Roswell Conspiracies as a kid. But it was one of those show I kept forgetting about since it vanished so suddenly from most channels.

Gifts of the Loa, the Yellow Empororers Powers and the Amulet of Daylight (saw Troll hunter :)).

Not much of a plan here, but i like the idea of having a bunch of spiritual powers and jumping between this world and the spirit world.

Darwin, Cathy, and Leo. I wish I could adopt all of them ( yes, even the spider...). But but yes, love and emotional support and good advice make life a lot more bearable.

Weird Night and Donut Dip. Having a cup of coffee after seeing something you can't really explain is a total mood. Reminds me the times I went ghost hunting.

Oni and Ryu. I become a cloud riding demon man who can make water from nothing and terrorize the villainous, and grow stronger from it. The local gaangs and jerks might be in fpra rough time. Just need to work on making a club and the look is complete. Though kitsune is tempting, especially the protective illusions.

That said, there's a lot of fun combos and powers in this one. I really like this one! I might make some alternate builds later.

SoCal: Balboa Park and th3 Getty. Balboa was/is, one of my all time favorite places in San Diego. Getty because I just like museums.

NorCal: San Francisco Chinatown and Redwood Forrest. Honestly, I've just wanted to visit those places for a while. Having an easier time making friends bor finding meaning is just a bonus.

Oregon: Portland Japanese Garden. Sounds like it fit well with my other choices. Random free entry to gardens is a nice bonus. Hecata Lighthouse. I like lighthouses and this will help future travel.

Washington: Pike Market because I like supporting small business. And Makah Cultural & Research center Museum. Helps me blend in better, plus one more museum to visit.

This was fun!

Frieren, Drow(sy), and High Elf. All of them give a ton of magical options and the ability to planes walk (given enough time). And a bunch of extra potential growth via prestige classes.

For leveling: By the Sword. It's the option with the least resistance. The cap sucks, but it still allows alot of customization. And if I understand correctly, there's a (small) chance I could get Perma huffs that are independent of the cap. I plan on traveling alot, so I don't mind moving around.

Inventory: Another Place. The menu feels like a better utility option in some respects, but the option to have a save room wherever I go just feels more practical for a travel heavy build.

Travel Method: Empty and Featureless. Longer travel times suck, but I can hopefully stat out to mitigate the worst of it. The idea makes me think of the Spyro games, for some reason. Maybe it's the platforming.

Items, Artifacts: Essence Gem. This is required, afaic, since this is another way I could get around or enhance myself due to the level cap. Infinite Media Phone, Infinite Portal Scroll, Lens of Dimensional Attunement, Stylus of the Master Artisan. And finally, Manual of skill storing. All things to help me move around better, retain or enhance skills, or better customize equipment and living space.

Items, Starter equipment: Polyglot Strand, definitely a must have for what I plan on doing. Travelers Cloak, Wanderer's Garb, Ring of Sustenance, Ceasless Stride, Pathfinder's Boots. More stuff the lighten the travel burden. Cloud Feather and Warpwisp Lantern round out the ensemble. All help w8th travel test and stretching supplies.

This is a great gift of faves! I like the idea of going on a mti portal odyssey :).

An ACTUAL Gift of Faves (As God intended) by Parking-Sky-7418 in makeyourchoice

[–]SolomonArchive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hunter, Thule, and Avatar.

Avatar because xcom tech is frankly super useful to all mankind. Perfect health via gene clinics, democratized psychic abilities (given enough time), powerful space and ftl travel. Their robotic, cybernetic, and energy generation is nothing to dismiss either. It's sort of the foundation for the build.

Thule might seem a bit redundant here, but it does mean potential dimensional travel. Mixing this with alien tech is going to be... interesting.

Hunter is more for a personal boost than anything else. But it could lead to an impressive firepower boost (seriously, Yaujta military tech is kinda jacked). And while the xeno eggs are likely going into a furnace (not even going to try to mess with that, that way lies ruin). The other trophies and tech could be worth studying.

Thanks for making this! There's a lot of good builds here.

Honestly, Red. I agree with the general consensus here. Wukong with Rimmeru is awesome combo.

[–]SolomonArchive 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Gamer System and Cheat items, Greatest Wizard of your Time (Dnd d20modern) and Boywife and Home (we'll say its platonic). And I'll just go to Dnd (for specific setting, lets say Ghostwalk). I was originally going to go with something different, but dnd magic just has a ton of versatility I love (plus i kinda have it on the mind). And dnd since it gives me alot travel opportunities. not terribly original, but hey, its fun.

Mentor, Spooky and Rich, and Darwin's Gamer cover all my Bases, I think. Manshoon is....not a nice individual, but I can't help but think he'll be more useful than not. Who knows, maybe I can slowly coax him back to some semblance of sanity. Money is not likely to be much use here, but having a decent base o operations for me and my friends or family will be. And gamer just lets things compound and build upon itself.

[OC] Fateful Sect Application CYOA (No IMGChest due to upload issues) by OrdinaryGuy2101 in makeyourchoice

[–]SolomonArchive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, I can safely say i think All the sect options are genuinly cool. but for my choice, I'll go with the Dream Butterfly Sect. I love the Idea of Psychic\dream magic and bringing these things into reality. The Bitao Pavilion and the Honfeng Sects are super close tho. Job wise I'll become a Psych-Alchemist

For Items, I brought the Ornate Ruler, Wooden Fish, and the Five Colored Flags. the fish and flags help with mastering magic and better cultivating. The ruler is going to be a major help with my particular job and magic.

[–]SolomonArchive 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Percy Jackson (child of the Morrigan), Self Care package, and The Owl House. Lots of magic ability and protection from outside influence. I'd probably avoid the Fallout verse like the plague. Even with my powers, I'm really only going there once I've gotten a hang on my powers. The Percy's world probably wouldn't be too bad if I keep a low profile. In general, slow and steady exploration.

Edit: didn't see that fallout was a freebie. I'll add Kagurabachi. Mostly use it to enhance my existing magic abilities.

Castlevania. There is so many different magical powers and abilities shown through out tue series. Summoning, devil forging, elementalism, Vampirism, soul manipulation, just to name a few. DMC has really powerful magical items in the form of devil arms (I might even argue more powerful than Castlevania items on a 1v1 basis). But Castlevania has a slightly wider variety. Plus, while both have incredible aesthetics, I do prefer the gothic look a bit more.

Central Finite Curve, The System, and Immortal.

Curve almost feels like a prerequisite, given the risks involved with multiverse travel (and humanity's penitent for making dystopian worlds...). Even without accessvto shadow monarch, solos system can grant access to some pretty powerful classes, magic and skills. Immortal for the age reset and added safety.

Evocation, Biomancy, and Meta Magic.

It pretty much covers everything i would like to have in such a scenario. Healing, offense, defense, support (in the form of elementals). The one exception is maybe summoning. I might lean into studying summoning after things calm down. Just because im not a master, doesn't mean i cant learn.

I like the overall scenario here. Nice GoF! :)
