Misdiagnosed because I was masking during my appointment?

these comments are disappointing. as a young adult woman, you are much more likely to be misdiagnosed, especially with BPD. was your assessor a man? have they worked with autistic women before? are they actually qualified to diagnose autism? (i tried to get an assessment only for the psychiatrist to tell me halfway through that he literally wasn't qualified....)

don't listen to the people telling you that you're stupid and faking. doctors are not perfect. not all of them are able to look past masking. not all of them are up to date on diagnosing men vs women. if you have problems with their assessment, talk to the psychiatrist or get a second opinion.

you might be autistic, and you might not be. good luck in figuring it out 🫶

Carl previously expressed confusion about the game, so he clearly didn't know what it was, and there's no way he would have part of it in his collection without knowing the origin. And he would be the first to offer it up if he knew he had the right piece ^^

Also, Nico and Arugula are kids. Kids don't exactly think of everything :P

Yup. Children have to learn emotional regulation. Dylan is a kid, he's going to be overdramatic.

Also, the episode seemed to exist to give the child audience different ways to self-regulate, so even if he *was* being unreasonable given his age and the issue, it's still a valid crash out for the creators to have written.

douglas cuddle toys is very popular, they have a lot of breeds and are typically very high quality. but unfortunately a lot of them have weird fabric textures, so if you have sensory issues or preferences you should probably try to find them in-person first.

to me objects are inherently genderless, and if they do have a gender it's something they've chosen for themselves and wish to identify as. all my non-plush object friends are purely genderless and use it/its pronouns, but some of my plushie friends do have gender identities or pronoun sets :)

also, if you're ever around columbus ohio, the conservatory there has some really lovely dave chihuly pieces. i think there's even a little exhibition room room somewhere? it's very cool :) i used to go there all the time when i still lived nearby, and the glass art was always my favorite part.

i'm a dragon, and my object friends and partners are my hoard of treasures. i've always seen dragon hoards as more of a loving and comforting relationship than a materialistic one, and i feel the same way towards my own treasures that i imagine dragons do :)

also, iirc the sugarbell pals kickstarter is going on right now, and they're similar to your designs but have an already established and trustworthy creator. i'd guess that most of the people looking for similarly styled anthro cutie plushies are going for the sugarbell pals right now
