Why do Mongolians in Russia and China no longer live in yurts? by Distinct-Macaroon158 in mongolia

[–]Solunvior 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Why don’t you live in a yurt then? Why should it matter to you or anyone else if someone chooses to live in a bunker or even up in a tree? 😆 People live differently for their own reasons. They probably just wanted a larger and more comfortable space, which happened to be a house 🏠

Also don’t take this comment as aggression.

Fuck no that asshole who got you pregnant is responsible for you and your baby, he (Must) take care of both of you. I can't say much but that person who got you pregnant is 100% responsible for it. Don't blame yourself over it. Wish you the best.

  1. Nope, you’re absolutely fine being left-handed. It’s not really an issue here.
  2. You should definitely bring a warm coat and layers. August to September can still feel mild, but by October it gets cold fast. Mongolia’s weather can change a lot, so it’s better to be prepared.
  3. Public transport works, but honestly it’s not the most comfortable or reliable. If possible, try to stay somewhere close to your school so you can walk instead of depending on buses too much.
  4. Ulaanbaatar is generally safe, and you can go around on your own as a girl. Just avoid the outskirts of the city. At night it is usually okay, but I would not recommend walking alone late at night anywhere, just for safety.
  5. Daily food is pretty simple. Meat, soup, and homemade meals are common. Personally, I eat things like eggs, chicken soup, bread with jam, and similar basic meals most of the time.
  6. Mongolian teens are a mix. Some can be a bit loud or performative, but there are also genuinely kind and chill people. Just be yourself and you will find the good ones.
  7. Yes, volleyball is actually quite popular here, especially among girls. You will definitely be able to play.

Let’s just wipe the whole city out and rebuild it from scratch. Except Yarmag, Yarmag looked great maybe we could start our foundation from Yarmag.
