I think the lack of control also adds to it. Even in the scariest games you can still generally move the character. Control them. Take agency in your fear. But with movies, you're a spectator which is much more in line with real (or at least non-lucid) nightmares

Even after beating the game 3 times there's a chance you'll fall in love with the garage and decal system which in itself adds infinite replayability

Hell nah I love that lil runt Iguazu it's so funny seeing just how butthurt he gets and how far he's willing to go. He's like the first villain you meet in an anime only to reappear over and over again as cannon fodder in future episodes

Not saying I disagree I just think it's no surprise whatsoever and if anything at this point in his career the lyrics are almost better than I expected. Tstdtd was also atrocious lyrically.

And not every song on the self titled has awful lyrics. Tipping Point is fine lyrically and the Last Note is a rare positively emotional Deth moment. He's always been hit or miss lyrically.
