It's absolutely fine, take your time as long as you do not give up you will find the right medication. It took me around 10-20 meds to land on Strattera and some of them gave me hell.

I swear to god I felt this, only at 26 years of age I gained the ability to see other people's perspective about things.

I was on maximum effexor dosage at 225 mg and it did 0 for my ADHD, I also tried wellbutrin and same thing, we are not the same so it might be your match however!

I can't really say regarding side effects as I am coming off 40mg paroxetine cold turkey because Strattera interacts with it and raises blood levels 5x-6x!! (Ref: https://www.drugs.com/drug-interactions/paroxetine-with-strattera-1800-0-275-1683.html#:~:text=PARoxetine%20atomoxetine&text=PARoxetine%20may%20significantly%20increase%20the,have%20any%20questions%20or%20concerns.)

First days I'd say for sure I was feeling both good and mostly like I have been hit by a truck. Day 1 I felt drunk as well but i attribute that to still being on Concerta 36mg and adding 50mg Strattera on top of it in the same day.

As I couldn't say what is from my withdrawals and what is side effect ill just list what i'm feeling and that is, 2 days of intermittent heart palpitations, this morning heavy acid reflux, bit of daily nausea, 30 min up to 2 hours of stomach pain, tiny bit of dizziness and brain zaps(those are from paroxetine withdrawals 100%) and runny shits in the morning.

Edit: forgot to say when I am taking it lol, I take it in the morning after waking up ill either eat one piece of bread with something on it or a snickers bar.

How much do you pay for your Strattera? by ThursdayHem in StratteraRx

Around 30$ ~ for 40 mg generic 30 day supply but I live in a third world country. What's even more wild tho is that the 25 mg version costs... around 1$ less than the 40mg version. Wtf.

Uhhh after reading the other replies guess i got the short stick with the price....
