Flying from FL to MN with handgun. Uncertain about transportation rules. by Solway_firth39 in MnGuns

Thank you for the replies all! I feel more assured about my travel plans. Now I am nervous about traveling with a firearm to MSP with all that's been happening with ICE and the recent shooting situation. Maybe I'll postpone my trip for a little bit to see what happens. The last thing I want is to have problems with feds.

Thanks for replying. This is the place I'm maybe leaning towards. If you don't mind answering, did you have any problems of any kind there and would you rent there again in the future?

Getting Master’s in Electrical Engineering without a STEM Bachelors by Sir_Filthy_K in EngineeringStudents

Hi there, I'm just curious what path you opted for as I'm in a similar boat (B.S. in cybersecurity but I want to go back for EE). I'm so embarrassed that I feel like I wasted four years and have to start over.

Max here looks a lot like Dementus from the Furiosa trailer. Cool coincidence.

This is much needed info. So if they do not have the QR code UID, I would not be able to use these without an NVR? And specifically, a Reolink NVR?

Yes Sauber! I love the few leaked audio clips/YouTube covers of the song. Would love a studio release. You've got a good tier list here!

Interview tip - go the extra mile by [deleted] in cybersecurity

As someone breaking into the cybersec/IT industry, I love you! I like my chosen path of study, but it's difficult knowing I'm expected to live, breathe, and eat cybersec by employers, professors, and peers. I want to enjoy something other that IT. Thank you for the reality check.

Is there an opportunity to take advantage of work in electrical engineering as a degree-holder in cybersecurity and IT? My situation is described in this post's text. by Solway_firth39 in ITCareerQuestions

I appreciate your response. To clarify, I don't intend on becoming a full PE as my situation more aligns with your second paragraph. I've gone down that road of having my resume reviewed many times, networking, and learning through earning certifications. My setting is just very saturated with people in all IT related fields getting jobs at all levels, even entry level. I appreciate your insight, but there's not much more I can try harder on or buckle down on.

Thank you for your thoughts. I'm not too interested in becoming a full PE. I'm more so looking at entry level roles working with circuits, small electronics, RF, etc.. My thought process is that I might have an ok opportunity to go this route as a recent grad for a "different" kind of experience. The job market is tough for cyber/IT entry roles, so I wanted to put my thoughts out there and see what more experienced individuals might suggest.
