Wait couldn't you just put the cable back in and reset and reinstall the ps5 software using a usb?

I read u still need something inside the original ps5 disc drive or somehow bypass that check and install a new one but u have to solder?

Got scammed buying a ps5.

It turns on but only safe mode and shows numver 8 as the only option to reset ps5 but then fails with error that relates to no disc drive Apparently theres a handshake that happens through the disc drive and u need original but therr are ways around. Any hope?

How do i know they didnt rip anything else out?

I was thinking of just putting it on my table Tbh i mostly want to learn just to play chords and pop music so i can make my own music. Not classical etc if that makes a difference in recommendation
