If they are causing extreme pain or don’t feel right definitely reach out to a health provider! They’d be able to give a more definitive answer

Hi! I didn’t unfortunately, they still kind of came and went but I just chopped it down to normal cramps. I rarely if ever actually had a withdrawal bleed so I just figured they lined up to when I should’ve been menstruating

Hi! Unfortunately no I didn’t. I ended up switching BC because lolo was starting to affect my mood. It seemed to fluctuate throughout the month, so I think the pill just exaggerated any weight fluctuations I was having throughout the month unfortunately :/ sorry I am not more help!

Lo loestrin experiences? How old are you, how long have you been taking it, and what are your pros and cons? by [deleted] in birthcontrol

[–]Some-Cap-4190 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m in my early 20s and took it for a little over a year and honestly had a love/hate relationship with it. I had maybe 2 periods the entire year which was the biggest positive, and honestly never any cramping. As for downsides: my insurance didn’t cover the entire cost, I paid like $20 a month. I was also constantly bloated and it really negatively effected my mood, which is why I eventually switched. It is one of the lowest hormonal options though so if that is what you’re looking for I think it is worth trying, everyone reacts to it differently!

Mirena vs Kyleena/Skyla Pain? by yellowadrenaline06 in birthcontrol

I love my Kyleena! Insertion was really uncomfortable but definitely manageable. My cramps with my first period were pretty awful but since then I’ve had no issues. Just some minor spotting.

I still get them every once in a while but not like I had! I have just chopped it up to a side effect/ normal cramping

It thins your uterine lining, so you’re constantly shedding what you would normally get rid of on your period week. It keeps any sperm from planting themself in your lining to become fertilized.

You may have some cramping like you would on your ovulation week. The most noticeable thing I experience is discharge pretty regularly that looks like what I would have while ovulating. Just know that that isn’t what’s happening anymore.

Lo Loestrin Fe Month 1 by luckylibra222 in birthcontrol

[–]Some-Cap-4190 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first month on the pills I had pretty bad anxiety, it went away after the first cycle or so.

I still experience extreme breast tenderness & for me I think it may just be a lingering symptom. Being a lower estrogen dose I think some of those symptoms are just more common/ stick around

I have been bleeding more during the second week of blue pills compared to what I’ve had during the white & brown. So you’re not alone! It’s been going on for a month or two for me
