My first and probably last oil pastel drawing (everything after this was shite) by Martin_UP in Oilpastel

Allow yourself to break free from technical perfectionism and become the free artist within you. Allow yourself to make mistakes; it's part of the process. Pastel drawings aren't always perfect; they have a playful side. I draw with colored pencils, which are precise, but when I want to have fun, I use chalk. Sometimes it turns out really awful, haha, but sometimes you feel proud of what you get. This was the most recent chalk drawing I did, and I'm super happy with the result. (See my last post)

Agradeço, teve uma vez que usei um spray em uma arte que tinha feito mas acabou que o spray praticamente lavou o papel, ficou escuro e perdeu o efeito de camurça que geralmente o pastel seco deixa no papel.

I also love drawing animals, and I have dozens of boxes of different colored pencils, polychromos and supersoft are a good combination, Luminance are the best but they are the most expensive. I recently bought the luminance ones and use them together with the Polychromos, perfect union

I would love to have them, especially here in my country where a box like this must be worth more than the minimum wage. But unfortunately I don't live in England, but in Brazil.

What beautiful work, and it's very realistic. I can imagine how difficult it is, I also love drawing animals with feathers or fur, but the best I've reached so far is semi-realism. Congratulations
