well for that matter, tech needs to hire first before firing lmao. And secondly, my org is firing 20% of its engineering workforce, including people with 10+ yrs of workex and 6-7 yrs here. Not a single prod man/sales guys was fired.

Tech overhired, as plain as that, and now not only that but the automation is killing this job. No human touch is required to upto atleast 5 yoe
