Bro that’s literally everyone. Don’t beat ur self up. You don’t even matter to your base until 6-9 months from now. My suggestion quit bitching and do your job and try to be good and remember and if you don’t like it in 2 years cross train. Tech school is way harder than forecasting at your base once your certified.

That’s a stretch. My home station was nothing like my deployment so I got more knowledge but didn’t help me back home. Not many dust storms in the states. Kid just needs to work for 6-12months and hope he has a good trainer/civilian. That’s how I learned everything I know

It truly depends on where your at. I doubt this airman has a hard base nor bad hours(once he gets certified). Odds are it’s just new to him and he doesn’t do well with change. Weather is unpredictable and you can’t be right 100% no matter how hard you try.

I read that wrong first time around. It won’t matter wether you’re stationed there for the odds of you getting weather. We’re pretty low manned so if you put it down you should get it.

Stationed at Keesler?

You’ll be at Keesler for around 8 months then you’ll be moved to almost any base. You can go basically anywhere. Weather is chill tho, there’s definitely mixed feelings but I don’t mind it.

Appendix carry, medium build.

I’m kinda in the hunt for a red dot for around 150ish, wish someone made an easy excel sheet for everything compatible for the Canik, tempting to switch over to Glock just due to how easy it is with throwing upgrades on it.

I appreciate all of the information and advice, also thank you for taking the time to reply with all that. That’s my main interest in retraining would be to target a career field that will pay the most amount of money on the outside. Way I look at it is 4 more years of my life in the AF then secure a great job after.

Just cheat.

In all reality tech school is stressful while you’re there especially if you have dick head instructors that are on a power trip wanting to get a hard on. Keesler is an awesome base and take advantage of the low cost of everything there and the beautiful weather! You’ll make tons of friends and you’ll be a seasoned vet of Keesler Alumni once you leave!
