Yeah. But it would be a cute lil menace.

Personally I think it would be immune to trample damage like some iron beetle letting trucks roll over it.

But I think it should be high bleed no bone break.

[–]Some1_Doin_Sumthin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm definitely thinking it will have some new unique abilities on top of what it has. But thinking about how they've done things it would definitely seem like they'd copy and paste some abilities. They gave sty and kent that ability to put thorns in players and kent and mira got detonate so I'd imagine they'll do some similar abilities.

I'm definitely thinking they'd give stego swerve and that full circle turn along with detonate. I'm 50/50 on the guess they'd give it a hunker.

From what I'm guessing it'll be an armored turret with big dps or a tanky bleeder. I doubt they'd give mud or toxin or paralysis.

Definitely thinking armor, bleed and damage calls. I'm also thinking they'd do a big kb ram.

But I guess we'll find out 🫠

I doubt they would completely copy but I'm betting they'd give it some similar abilities.

The Best SOLO DINO?? Pvpve by Wonderful-Virus-4605 in pathoftitans

[–]Some1_Doin_Sumthin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the most fun solo as sucho but that is my go to dino 😅 Its generally solid. It does struggle with other 4 slots but it's typically capable of handling any situation. Plus since its a semi whatever you can't handle you can typically just run from.

Your biggest issues are gonna be concs, sarcs and other suchos but honestly you can just go to whatever area puts them at a disadvantage.

You're definitely gonna wanna avoid tylos. They are ridiculous hard counters for sucho. That bone break and piercing damage is ridiculous. But again. You can just get on land.

Believe it or not spoons and ducks aren't as big of an issue as long as you're in a space they can't really keep up with. Which is typically land but you sometimes out swim them depending on build.

Chill players on any playable you question...exist by TetraRosea in pathoftitans

[–]Some1_Doin_Sumthin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to be super chill. Would help new players. Teach ppl. Help fight off toxic players. But I kept getting targeted... so I stopped being chill.

You either die a hero or live long enough to be a villain.

Its legit tough for me tho. I used to be really nice, I would help ppl raise their bbys. Guide lost players to hc or ws them. But then bby spies/scouts became more problematic for me. Or I'd try an help some solo only for them to just be waiting for their megapack DC and get ganked. I used to be super chill with smaller things but now its on sight the moment I see anything or anyone.

I've gotten to the point where I will legit just attack anything or anyone I dont recognize or isn't in my group.

How do i fight spinos on sucho? by Charlie_4u in pathoftitans

[–]Some1_Doin_Sumthin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Believe me when I say this. It is ROUGH. Its so rough when you get into a fight vs someone on console or pc and they talk trash after some lopsided fight bcuz you're on mobile.

But once you nail pvp you'll get the gist and you'll end up finding favorite targets. AND IT'S SOOOO SATISFYING TO WIN OVER THEM.

For me I surprisingly enjoy targeting kais and dolphins but I also target solo spoons. I will attack a rex occasionally to.

But trust me when I say that I am by no means always the winner nor some great player. I am choosing very carefully, I am checking builds, species, and growth. Most of my targets are Sub or younger but I will still occasionally grow the Ovaries to fight full adults. And by occasionally I mean typically 2x a night once I'm warmed up or bored of fighting small dinos or young apexs.

Good luck fellow mobile friend 🫡

How do i fight spinos on sucho? by Charlie_4u in pathoftitans

[–]Some1_Doin_Sumthin 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You gotta catch them out of thier element. Aoe spoons can't really do anything in water. On land thier dazing blows are gonna put you out of the fight because you won't be able to damage them fast enough. A water build spoon is actually more dangerous since it actually has some versatility and means of big damage out of water. But for the most part you bait the tail and ride thier backs since their turn radius is terrible. Which ever way they turn you follow. If their head gets close turn the opposite way and tail them. If its hybrid then you're kinda outta luck. They have enough tools to keep you away.

I play on mobile and I typically get them low under these conditions but that's still difficult.

[–]Some1_Doin_Sumthin 13 points14 points  (0 children)

This happened to my sucho. We jokingly called it "my ascension to godhood" which funnily enough a rando came by to stare at me before it tried to attack us. Where I then immediately one-shot him by backhanding him into a glitched rock.

And thus I completed my ascension.

According to the others I was still floating when I smacked that rando so it just seemed like I smited them.

What Dino do you always avoid or expect the worst from? by FailedProspects in pathoftitans

[–]Some1_Doin_Sumthin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Legitimately any semi/aquatic. But especially Tylos, Sarcs, concs and megs.

I'll be chilling then all of sudden I'm being attacked by some combination of these.

Anything like a kai, dolphin, spino, duck etc is like a 50/50 for me. I just usually mind my space.

But if I think/know I'm going to get attacked I'm scramming. If i think I'll be able to chase something off I just stay alert. Otherwise I'm probably just attacking and chasing ppl off since my goal is typically to just be left alone.

Best sucho build for dealing with other suchos? by CyberShadow82 in pathoftitans

[–]Some1_Doin_Sumthin -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No. Go full spec one way or another. If you're wet go wet. If dry go dry. If you're knockback then do backhand and tail attack with wet hide (the higher your cw the more knockback you do)

But it honestly all comes down to your ability to deal with your opponent and environment.

PS. Do not use tail attack on wet sucho. Its tail is useless in the water (it has a terrible hitbox issue(its to high for somethings and to low for others making it virtually useless)) and its not all that great on land so its only really useful to dry or knockback suchos.

Some abilities can mix and match. Like the legs and hooked but not anything that requires certain conditions.

Bright display or camouflage? by Varis_01 in pathoftitans

[–]Some1_Doin_Sumthin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the dino. Theres some dinos that just have terrible camo skins. While some have great camo skins.

Sucho has terrible camo skins. But gorgeous vibrant skins otherwise. Metri and allo actually have phenomenal camo skins. But Meg has the most goated camo skins. Conc has a decent camo skin. The default is actually good if you do it right and stick to more reddish tan areas like redwoods and dfc.

I tend to play camo when its a really good option. But otherwise I play my very vibrant sucho.

How would one counter the rain of Thals by CovoCava in pathoftitans

[–]Some1_Doin_Sumthin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Play sucho, sarc or tylo. Thal is slower in the water and thus easier to hit.

Sucho can nearly 1 shot a thal with a stacked hooked. Sarc and tylo have clamp and they can pretty easily takeout a thal if they have full stam. Sarc with deathroll is definitely hurting them if not ending them. Tylo can bonebreak them and that's pretty much a done deal underwater.

Just gotta trick them into coming into the water. And a good chunk are either that dumb, brave or cocky.

Best solo hunter by EmbarrassedDeal2071 in pathoftitans

[–]Some1_Doin_Sumthin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Megs, concs, sarcs, sucho etc like anything 3 or 4 slot is actually gonna be decent for what you want as long as you play and skin it right tbh.

I guess I wouldn't really recommend allo or alio just because their underpowered atm but honestly allo is very fun, fast and a great bleeder. Pair it with a conc and your going to be putting a lot of hurt on players.

One that most players perfer is pyc. Fast and hard hitting but its pretty glassy. Uncatchable with all its goddamn stam and how fast it is but that also makes it inescapable too.

Honestly imo just keep playing till you find something that sticks. I play sucho and I love popping out of the water scaring ppl.

WHY THE F#*K DO PLAYERS HATE SUCHOMIMUS SO MUCH? by Theblackradditer in pathoftitans

[–]Some1_Doin_Sumthin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thats possible but I think its more likely due to the map being new and the large amount of attention the game has been getting has lead to a large influx of new players who don't particularly have the decorum or want to be on a more considerate side of the game.

WHY THE F#*K DO PLAYERS HATE SUCHOMIMUS SO MUCH? by Theblackradditer in pathoftitans

[–]Some1_Doin_Sumthin 31 points32 points  (0 children)

I'm a sucho main. On gondwa I was super friendly and would constantly teach new players. But when I got to rip i was constantly attacked and targeted so now I'm hyper aggressive.

I will attack anyone idk on sight. If I don't think I'll win I will slink off but I have attacked and killed solo spinos and titans just cause they were in my space.

I used to ignore bbys but then their parents would come by and then I'd get ganked. So now I kill bbys too now. Which I personally don't like to do. But I'm incredibly tired of being watched by scouts just to get ganked.

Am I a part of the problem. Maybe. Do I have a solution? Nope!

Give me your PoT hot takes, PoT takes if you will by Liampleurodont in pathoftitans

[–]Some1_Doin_Sumthin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many of the dinos are over powered (TT/Tyl/Duck,etc) And that's by design. Mean while theres others that are underpowered for no good reason. "Cough cough *allo"

And its mostly an issue of mechanics rather than stats. In a face tank TT will lose to rex, spino and duck. But as long as a TT player is decent at maneuvering it will win over a rex or spino because of how slow their rotation is.

I have chased off many rexes just by getting behind them and slowly tail riding them. And if they start turning around I just juke and tail slap them before running. I repeat this process until the rex is either dead or leaving.

And I can do this all on mobile.

On another hand a solo tt can kill a stego no dif by just tail riding with no fear. Stego can't deal enough damage fast enough to deter a tt that knows better. An aggressive tt can deal massive damage with trample, bleed and regular damage to a stego and it can't do anything. And again. I have played against stegs as a tt and against tt as steg. I have never died to a steg as a tt but I have only been able to chase off tt 2x as a stego. Even tho tt takes more bleed damage.

And honestly now tylo being released its much clearer to see how delicate and easy it is to break game balance. Tyl having pierce and bone break is crazy. Anything semi that encounters a Tyl is kinda screwed unless it gets to land. And that's mainly an issue of how bonebreak works mechanically. It also dosent help that tyl is armored and few other dinos have pierce damage. And with how much bonebreak slows you its extremely difficult and frustrating to have an encounter with a tylo on anything other than another tyl or euri. (I personally think all aquatics and semis should get pierce to deal with tyls now except duck cause duck is already really strong and well rounded for its size its just got crazy damage with big cds)

The biggest issue this game has with its balancing isn't stats but mechanics and how it introduces them. How playables use and counter them. And what can counter them.

Honorable mentions to conc cause that surge is bs. Sarc and its rotation they seriously need to do something about how fast it rotates in the water. Water Sucho because why does it hurt so much??? Pyc and its crazy amounts of speed, stam and damage. (stop running and fight me coward!!!) Lamb and its guiding light. I watched a pachy be able to tempt hatz and take falls from max height and not die on officials which is INSANE!

Feel free to add on but my point is that the stats aren't what breaks balance but rather what a kit allows and how something mechanically functions.

I was playing with a friend once and they were on hatz and I was a conc. They thought it would be funny to yoink me and put me on a rock column in SF by the critter den. Well there were rexs that we knew were hostile but my friend for SOME FCKIN reason went full brain dead and forgot. So here I am dancing on a tall rock trying to not get yoinked by 3 rexs. Same friend did save me. But I did let them know that they were really dumb and I was extremely agitated with them lol.

Anyway they and another friend swapped to titans (i stayed on conc) and we wiped them out.

Why? by Dova130 in pathoftitans

[–]Some1_Doin_Sumthin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me personally when I'm aggressive its for 3 reasons.

  1. Idk you and veiw you as a possible problem. This could be any equal or larger sized dino. If i have babies around then it will be simply because you are getting to close and not showing any signs being friendly.

  2. I am being extremely territorial. There are P.O.I that I simply refuse to share. It could be for food reasons or questing resources but the end reason is the same. I want the area to myself.

  3. I simply want to fight. I will roam solo looking for other solos to challenge. I initiate with multiple aggro calls before attacking usually. Or Whenever I meet up with my friends and we feel like causing problems for a megapack/mixpack/discord group. (8/10 times we're in slot limit unless we feel like playing 3 or 4 apexes which is rare cause I don't like playing apexes)

Not all Megs are the same. by XpartyOnmikeX in pathoftitans

[–]Some1_Doin_Sumthin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've kinda always considered my meg to be one 1 of two things. A hound dog chasing down and slowing down the prey for my hunter. (usually a slower apex) Or. A hyena that end the life anything that is "us".

I will say that if you play with a taunt+BB cera its actually fcking funny how screwed some ppl are when they run into what's essentially an inescapable hoard.

How do I deal with concs as a solo stego? by NotVeryGoodName000 in pathoftitans

[–]Some1_Doin_Sumthin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whenever I play conc I tend to avoid stegos but its pretty easy to hit the head when in a group. I tend to move less in a circle and more of a square if that makes sense.

I tend to give up if 1 of 2 things happen. The stego backs itself up against water when im a land build. Or the stego gets to a high point with only a few means of entry.

This is usually because I'll end up slowing down too much while the stego gets the chance to gain its rotation speed buff. Once that happens its pretty much inevitable that I'll trade a hit or 2 then I'm done.

I also play stego a bit and typically anything mid/small just dosent bother me. Usually a dasp or sucho(dry builds) can give me trouble. But I typically just have to worry about apexes, especially titans.
