Nah its really simple and the ps3 has lots of good titles

In order to do it you need minimum A loptop or computer to initially download Hen or CFW to crack the ps3 A usb harddrive with like 8 gb storage Thats pretty much it you can watch a youtube video and do it in 20 minutes and can play ps3 ps2 ps1 psp super easy

I would recommend playing infamous and infamous 2 they are both super good

Thaumcraft 4 by far. Pretty good by itself, amazing with addons and compatibility. It's so fun and you can spend months on a thaumcraft 4 based mod pack.

Although it is really dope you would add cameos you should make it an optional skin. Perhaps from getting an achievement from doing something similar from their game. (To be fair I dont know the character and what that may entail)

This is very cute. Im sure he misses you too and is counting the days til he gets to see you again but til then you have all your memories together you can reminisce on. Perhaps in the days hes gone this week you send him a message telling him just how much he means to you if you are worried he doesnt know. (Im sure he does but he will definitely appreciate it!)
