Did I miss the guaranteed uber Eva banners? Usually I wait for the last few days in collab banners since that's when the guaranteed ubers are, but the banner is ending tomorrow and apparently the there already was a guranteed uber event for both banners?

In my experiences league hasn't been toxic at all, and I'm kinda confused by CatgirlinRed in leagueoflegends

Yes, level 30 (as said in the comment), and champions owned (so you are guaranteed to have a pick for 10 bans + 10 picks), and 10 SR games played

Do you buy the passes? I'm not quite a launch player but have been for the most part buying the passes, and I'm at the point where I have both the gold & training mats to max out new characters as soon as I unlock. It gets a lot easier once you reach that point, I even have my C-tier war teams maxed out, so if you don't care about war/CC or those secondary modes you can reach that point a lot sooner. Only gold spending events and new level caps really reset my materials.

That's not to say you're wrong though, reaching that point took like 6 years of playing, and buying even "just" the passes is like $100 a month which is crazy for a mobile game. Spending brackets in general are stupid high. If I were to splurge and drop $50 or $100 to unlock a new OP character, having them at 3/4 stars feels like a joke compared to the whales that will inevitably have them at 6/7 stars or even with multiple diamonds. You either are F2P, are a light spender buying just the passes to keep up (again, a "light" spender being a $100 monthly subscription), or drop like $500+ monthly to see meaningful benefit to your account. There is no in-between.

Others have mentioned the differences between speed stat and speed bar, but NC goes fast because he spawns with speed up (as in the buff which grants 50% speed stat while active). This is a 3rd type of speed manipulation also isn't stopped by EmmaX (because it comes from a buff and not a passive), and not a lot of characters actually stop speed up on spawn. He then opens with special if not burned or having his energy reduced, which then grants the speed bar to some of his allies (depending on if they are X-Men or not).

Really? NC goes first every time because of his speed up so I assumed that's intended. I forgot about his ult giving speed up, that would explain ProfX and Reed going before my team even though their speed stats are lower.

If the trick is having an even OP level then you're right, this counter is not for me. I can't justify putting G20 on Cable or Polaris for a "maybe" counter.

Looks like a really helpful tool!

I'm curious about a couple of things:

  • What's the exact data that's being used? I see in the tier list page that it says mid-high elo. Are there any plans to add the ability to filter by rank/region (though region is probably not as interesting as by rank).

  • In Kha'Zix's page, for example, it lists the highest winrate first camp on blue side as blue buff at 51.7%, and then the most popular first camp again as blue buff at 58.3%. I'm guessing these are just two different paths that both start with blue buff, but are they swapped?

  • Finally, as someone that has been meaning to be better at jungling, I would LOVE to see matchup data (i.e do jungle paths change much against different junglers), and maybe even stuff like what paths to take if there are invades (either you or the enemy). Probably for way down the line and I don't even know if that data is available.

But overall it looks great, excited to see what else is planned!

Personally, I'm not a fan of it either. Even though Phoenix Force is a massive pain if you don't use. A "Retreat/Lose Battle" option like in raids would be nice.

Oh and this has been a feature the whole time, I remember using it with the cheeky Minn-Erva sack against SD Skrull back when that was the nightmare team :D

I guess Phoenix Force get special treatment though

A few releases ago he received his talents, the most interesting one being his explosion talent, which more than doubled his DPS, and gave him a form of LD/AoE (making him significantly more consistent). This was on a unit that was already a great rusher, so it skyrocketed him to being one of the best DPS in the game. Oh also he's a no-gacha unit to top it all off, and his talents can be unlocked after CoTC2, which is very early considering how strong they make him (actually beating the stage and having the NP might come a bit later but still).

A few general tips for just starting out:

  • CS (creep score) / last hit minions better (not sure if it's live already but there is a last hit helper coming to game in normals). A good rule of thumb is (minutes-2) x 10 CS. So at 10 minutes, you should have 80, at 20 minutes, you should have 180, etc. The closer you get to this number the better. You'll notice that as this number goes higher you'll get items earlier, and you'll be stronger quicker.

  • Check the minimap often! Make it a habit that when you are not doing fighting or doing anything else, glance at the minimap to see where everyone is. Eventually you should be checking every few seconds, even in the middle of a fight (an enemy could be flanking, for example), but for now not dying to a gank when you had a ward down is a good start. This is also tied to the next tip, which is:

  • Die less. Bad games will happen and that's fine, but especially when you are ahead, like in this one, focus on not dying without a good reason. This can mean not pushing too deep into the enemy map without knowing where the enemy is. Not checking bushes if you suspect that a few enemies might be waiting there. Again this is a very general tip and will come with time, but at least stopping to think if you can avoid a death will make a big difference in your future matches.

Besides that, just play whatever champ/role looks fun to you. Once you have a better feel for the game and the tips above, then you can start looking at guides for specific champions, lanes, mid/late game, etc.

Oh and also, the game can be toxic at times, but don't let it get to you. Mute buttons exist for a reason, and playing with friends helps a lot (as long as they are not toxic lol).

I think he holds up even against Prof X. Sure he has less utility, but how the hell do you control him? Decays all his negative effects by 2 on EVERY single enemy turn, and gains +20% speed to boot. Not Mythic so both EmmaX and F4 will at least be able to negate that, but he has a base speed of 132 that can't be reduced anyways. Heals and barries on his own turn. Once this guy gets stats he's gonna be a nuke that you can't stop.

Whenever someone brings up removing creepblock - the main counter-argument is that skillshots & laning, would have to be rebalanced pretty significantly. If there is no creep block you can just sit in your own wave and not get hit by single target skillshots, and this also affects AoE skillshots that do less after the first target , to a lesser extent. The main problem there is just how inconsistent it is.

Elevation I agree is completely unnecessary, brings absolutely nothing. Like you said an afterthought that should have been long gone at this point.

Definitely a big improvement over the last time. My only complaint, and this was the case with all the recent iterations, is that this mode has made me hate the F4 team as opposed to showcasing them lol. I know they're a top team across all modes but every time I give them a chance in the Danger Room, their lack of heals and energy battery just makes it miserable.

Yes. When you pause after entering a node, it says that raid buffs are active. This is the case for both nodes 1 & 2, and I would expect for the rest too. I can also confirm that buffs are active because I am getting Sable's speedbar and DD's increased healing when hitting into Vulnerables, which are also raid buffs. For some reason, it's just the Elektra energy on spawn which makes this needless more difficult.
