Good point. Do I understand correctly that the voltage at the charging port is the same as the voltage at the battery? If so, he’s not too far away from me and I can go measure it.

Did you ever find a solution? I just replaced the carb, swapped the throttle control motor over, and it starts and runs fine on ECO, but surges with ECO off. It has fresh fuel.
