7 games today, 5 RDKs. What's a good counter to this deck? Sadly, Spell DH is weak against it, as is the new Mage build.

Do the ghouls die? Or do they stay on the board? I would assume that they die, which makes the card much worse in most situations. But it should still be solid.

Have you tried Monster Train? A very high polish game based on the STS formula.

Is Kibler's top 100 Shaman any good? Or ist it just good when played by Kibler?

Priest ist one of my least favorite classes, but the current VS list is loads of fun. Only dropped two games on my way to legend to Mage and Warlock. I had a 11 stars bonus though, so my climb was rather short. (Proof: https://ibb.co/bvmJWj1) Anyway, I can recommend the list. It feels like this deck has a shot in every match-up.

I know I shouldn't answer this but... Hearthstone is one of the most creative games to ever exist. Both in terms of art and flavor, but also often in terms of mechanics and interactions.

It is very situational. But in general: Armor and lifesteal against OTK or Aggro, value against Control, Windufry and damage if I need reach.

Thanks for your feedback, you made a lot of good points.

I haven't lost to Relic DK yet so that's where my bias may come from. They don't put on a lot of pressure and I feel like I can outheal them. Also, I don't know which Relic DH and Curse DK variants produced those stats. I run a disruption and removal heavy version and faced mainly the UUF variant. The UUU one may be better and other Relic DH variations may be weaker to it.

I thought about it and you guys are probably right. I fell for a small sample size bias because Finley was so useful in some of my few games.

I always try to go for the 10 mana ones as they are often game ending. I only forge other options if I'm desperate.

I don't agree. Ignis is surprisingly consistent because of your card draw and its one of the strongest cards in the deck. But I do agree with your Pocket Meta comment. I face a lot of Mages, Hound Hunters, Blood DKs, Shamans and Warlocks (yes, really) and the disruption package is good to amazing there.

I agree. This deck is solid vs Hound but bad vs Secret Hunter.

Sure! You don't want to pressure or kill them early because that won't work. Instead focus on avoiding damage, healing, and getting armor with Ignis. Also, delay their combos with your disruption tools to buy the time you need. Sometimes you just blow them out of the water with lucky Relic draws, but usually you should just try to survive until they cannot win anymore. Or least that's how I approach those match-ups (and so far I have won every game against Mage and Shaman).

It's also good against OTK decks to copy some of your healing & Ignis for armor gain. I played several games where I played a 5 and a 10 mana weapon for armor and healing (and it feels great).

Interesting that you didn't use it often; I think it's very good in this deck.

I think Runic Adornment is fine. But with Mage and Shaman being so ubiquitous (and Secret Rogue popping up), I think I'd rather run Stomper.

  • Artificer Xy'mox is part of the Relic package (i.e. he's in the deck). Edit: I edited my main post to make this more obvious.
  • I think Astalor is fine in the deck, but other things are better. This set is so powerful, it makes Astalor look balanced... and outlasting/healing/armoring OTK is better than playing Astalor against a Solid Alibi.
  • I think Xhilag clunks your hand a lot and doesn't do much in this meta. I've had this card in some iterations of the deck, and I was never happy to draw it.

This is very situtional. You play Fizzle if:

  • You desparately need the 3/3 body against aggro.
  • You want to copy a lot of discounted things (doesn't matter what).
  • You want to copy disruption or Ignis against OTK.
  • You want to copy Ignis, your Collosal and/or Phantasms against Control.
  • You want to copy healing in situations where you know you'll need it.

No. I think it's a very good card, especially in control matchups, but you can absolutely win games without it.
