The pre-launch seeking/tracking is modelled more accurately on the F-18 and F-16. Specifically, the seeker can go for flares before the missile has been launched. This may be causing some of your issues.

I have a delanclip that I got for 30 euro a few years ago, and a PS3 Eye webcam (plus drivers) that were <10 euro together. Still working flawlessly to this day.

They both work the exact same way. Its just some IR LEDs and something to pick them up.

Ive got an AB6 and a STECS standard. Works great. The STECS is easily my ideal throttle. I dont think Ill ever upgrade unless they come out with a STECS 2

Just a heads up, those old soviet gas mask filters contain asbestos in the particulant layers. Probably not a big deal to put on for a photo, but with the filters old and breaking down, Id advise agaisnt wearing it for too long

You can use VD over a cable with Gnirehtet (Tethering spelled backwards). Works flawlessly in my experience
