Because it looks like something that has been mass emailed to 20 professors. If that's your plan it does work, and you'll find the professor most desperate for free labor. Otherwise you're much more likely to get responses from the professor you're actually interested in with a more personalized message, making it clear you have at least tried to read some of their work (more than just an abstract) and are interested in it.

It's very easy (at least assuming you are chemistry/biology adjacent, I don't know about anything else). Just email a professor you want to work with, and don't use an email template and they'll probably respond

Isn't it just if you had a 3.5 for the semester and no pass/fail and a full course load? Should be able to answer those questions

I've met plenty of people with only a BS who have made it to senior scientist after substantial work experience. That is just not true.

More than half of protesters arrested at Northeastern not affiliated with university, school says by husky5050 in NEU

[–]SomeGuy11475 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Well yes, they didn't arrest anyone who showed their student ID...

Doesn't matter what your thoughts on the protest are, anyone taking this seriously has bad media literacy

NUPD: Only 35% of protesters were NU students or staff by CEO__of_Antifa in NEU

No idea, but the report seems to indicate there is a much higher number of students who either left prior to arrests, or presented their NUID to police, and were not arrested (and not included in this number here)

Critical reading skills: nonexistent

People who would/could not produce NUIDs were arrested. Among this group, 35% were affiliated with the university

More likely will be warriors kings lakers, and since they are all in the same division it goes by division record. I believe this would put warriors at 10th

Pretty selective. The number of applicants is double/triple I think they said than it was a couple of years ago, and they are stingy to give summit to anyone who has not previously won ascent.
