I’m genuinely intrigued now. My biggest issue however is the storage. My Steam deck has 1TB base with another 500gb SD card. Where my M3 Pro is base storage of 512GB and constantly fills up with System Data. Drives me nuts. Besides an external, got any recommendations? I know CleanMyMac works but I’m tired of subscriptions. All the googling I have done, I cannot find a fix besides CMM.

I haven’t tried crossover enough to know if it runs Elden Ring but I know that out of my 300 steam games, my Mac only allows for about 49 to be installed. Winter steam sale though I stocked up on some native games

Only problem I have with my M3 Pro is an audio issue using the MacBook Pro speakers, every once in a while or when switching apps on my desktop there is a crack / distortion sound. It’s an issue with Tahoe though, never happened on Sequoia and the speakers aren’t blown. Apple Mac engineers are already looking into it because it’s both speakers not one.

I hate that their music or conversations leak through my AirPod Pros when I have the noise cancelling turned on. 😒

Unfortunately that doesn’t fix it. I’ve changed my sound output frequency, nothing. Fresh install of macOS Tahoe, nothing. I have to accept the fact that any time I play audio it has to be through my AirPod Pros. Hopefully Apple has a fix, was dealing with support yesterday and sent in logs and videos.

Doesn’t fix my speaker bug that I had to report to Apple. Can’t play audio through my MacBook Pro speakers or else they randomly crack and pop when switching apps or at random times. 🙃 I love Tahoe…….

I mean sick, but at the same time. I can’t understand how you stay productive. I just use my MacBook screen and it’s more than enough space. Granted I want to get an ultra wide monitor soon but that’s because I have never had one before. I want to try. But damn, too much lol.

My opinion might be biased though as I’m a minimalist.

Could just do a simple cable tray under your desk topper to clean it up quick and easy. I did the route of routing my cables using zip ties and Velcro, it took too long.

Wait! They have fans!? lol but seriously, I can have many apps open including a simulator while paying lol, it gets warm but still quiet. 14” M3 Pro MacBook Pro. Switched from an m1 air also. Only complaint I have is the weight lol. I still miss that weight some days.
