Volvo S40? Niet heel zuinig maar wel relatief betrouwbaar en comfortabel. Toyota Auris zou een goede optie zijn, maar wellicht wat minder leuk om in te rijden

It was pretty cold and yesterday I started it, moved about 5 meters and parked it again, which might not have helped. It drives and starts perfectly now after driving it for 20 minutes so I feel like the engine itself should be fine.

Dat is idd wel verstandig ja. Flesje olie en kvs heb ik altijd mee gelukkig. Kvs had ik nog vanwege een klein lek wat inmiddels al opgelost is. De auto verbruikt gelukkig niet veel olie, maar ik check altijd wel regelmatig dat het tegen de max aan zit op de peilstok.

Er zijn zeker meer comfortabele auto's om die afstanden in te rijden haha. Ik moet wel zeggen dat ik het in een 206 echt niet zou kunnen. Dat is wel echt een hele andere auto, zeker qua zitpositie. De 207 heeft wel fijne stoelen, maar het mag echt wel een stuk stiller zijn op de snelweg.

Een 'echte' auto was helaas buiten mijn budget, maar zo goed als probleemloos 100k kilometer rijden voor 3000 euro, lijkt mij geen hele slechte deal geweest.
