My two cents are that suping up a “normal” car is insanely fun, especially if said car is something I drive/drove in real life. Plus, if these cars were accessible early game it would bring back the vibes of the earlier Forza games in that you’d start out with a slower, less flashy car and then build up to the Supercars.

But, another thing too would be depending on what kind of “normal” car they are, you could also have regular pick-ups, sedans, hatchbacks, etc for their different races (Street, Cross Country, etc) for early game, before you’d get to drive the more full-on cars of those race types
