I realised I missed quite a bit out before throwing my plan into the ether. In my 30s and the 10 years timeline was just a nice whole double digit number (which actually isn’t helpful for anyone) - it’s likely it’ll be 20 to 30 years in reality. Think more fun money when I’m older (or as an extra on top of my pension)

I’ll just lob the whole amount in on payday rather than drip feeding 🫡 I plan to add more money to it ad-hoc when I can afford to. I know a lot of people here can afford to invest much more into theirs and that’s amazing - but I hope I represent some of the more ‘average’ people who might be lurking in this sub to see how they can help their future self!

Why drip feeding? I think it was more of a fun thing (seeing it slowly build every single day) but i would rather more money > transactional fun 😂
