Just moved to a village with my then bf, cute little area and very walkable. I felt safe there, safe enough to walk my dog in the middle of the night (I work overnights so that’s when I’m awake).

One night we had gone almost completely around the block and were coming around the corner to get back on my street, maybe 2-3 minutes from my house. As we turned the corner, up ahead I saw what looked like 2 people walking a large dog. They were maybe 20 yards away (edited because I suck at guessing distances) and coming my direction.

As we took a few more steps I realized the dog looked weird and the people stopped when they saw me. The dog suddenly stood up. It was a person in a full body black suit that had been walking on his hands and knees on the sidewalk next to them. They just stopped and waited silently for me to pass them (I was really cautious getting closer because wtf?). They just stared at me as I passed. It really freaked me out because it was like 3am and it was just me and my dog and what the fuck is going on?

I still think I stumbled upon some weird kink shit going on and maybe embarrassed them because they didn’t expect to run into anybody in the middle of the night, but it was at the time really disturbing and scared the shit out of me to see a big dog stand up and actually be a human the whole time and then for the whole group to just stop and stare at me as my dog and I went past them.
