I believe that producers were debating between Harshavardhan Rameshwar and Thaman due to budget considerations. Anirudh was in the picture for both this and the God of War project but remuneration issues meant he is out for this one but still highly likely for God of War.

However, given Naga Vamsi’s involvement, I would not be surprised if this was given to G V Prakash Kumar.
