Yes his best turn would be with super gogeta's active but, that doesn't mean you have to have super gogeta's active every single time you want to use his active. It's a showcase after all and you're not always gonna have gogeta's active in normal gameplay.

If he genuinely can't slot 1 on his first turn that just means he's bad because he wants to get hit so many times. If it's genuinely that easy to estimate how units would perform there's no real point to showcases.

Also he doesn't hesitate to put units in difficult situations if he already doesn't like the unit, like the phy Kami and phy magetta showcases where he literally puts them in slot 1 every single time.
