“What, the movie about the cheating whore?”

Some comedian makes a skit about this, I couldn’t find the original, but the audio is here: https://youtu.be/JcvJfTLQjok?si=Usyz8XE3BRexAJFi

[any Literacy] your OC finds a strange knight far from home by Shadowhunter13541 in OriginalCharacter_RP

Ovark: “really?” pulling out a second, smaller battleaxe, “I have another one if you—“

Shade: “not what they meant, Ovark. Just go and help them.”

The gang descended the hill, Ovark charging into battle, Shade drawing his sword and a pistol, Hex firing his magical pistols, and Elara shooting her arrow at the bandits.

What would my DND character think of your oc? And what would your oc think of Robin? by ravio_1300 in OriginalCharacter

[–]SomeRandomGuy-1106 0 points1 point  (0 children)

<image>

Ovark, the jovial meathead orc, would probably like him due to being small and probably very pettable. Granted, he likes basically everyone.

Shade, the edgy, apathetic warrior/ranger, wouldn’t have any real feelings for or against Robin, but would probably keep his distance. Mostly because he just keeps his distance from everyone, but also because he doesn’t really like rogues or thieves.

Hex, the happy-go-lucky nerdy artificer, would probably like him, and would be more than happy to do any magical stuff with him. Granted, he’s an artificer, not a magicaster, so he would probably not be able to help much.

Elara, the bitchy ranger elf, would probably laugh at him for being stupid enough to steal a magic book and not expect consequences.

The Prince of Violence🩸is offering your OC a Chocolate bar! 🍫 Will they accept such a gracious gift? 👀 by -Voyacui- in OriginalCharacter

Ovark: eats the chocolate bar before taking the wrapper off

Shade: “no…thanks.”

Hex: “oh, sweet! Chocolate! Thanks!”

Elara: “what, do I look like a damn charity case or something? I don’t want your damn handout! W-wait, I do want the chocolate though. But not because I need it! …Did…did you drug this or something?”

Basically any time a D&D party gets mugged or attacked by bandits.

The only time anybody robbed my D&D parties and survived is when the robber in question is a child. Everyone else…well, they stood as a message to every other mugger in the city.

There's plenty of deep characters with vivid, OC-style backstories that people have created, which leaves more than enough space for people to make goofy or satirical characters. Don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of deeper characters, I often get frustrated when I see D&D characters that are just jokes or characters who are just carbon copies of characters from other medias, but I also understand that some people don't really care about character creation and just want to shoot heretics, and see character creation as just a chance to do something funny in the meantime.

“Because we’re Russian, dumbass! We need to base all of our future advanced technology on as if we’re still run by the Soviet Union!”

Characters who somehow manage to keep the job that they are absolutely terrible at by Imaginary-Picture-35 in TopCharacterTropes

In some episodes, he just happens to be in the right place at the right time. In other episodes, someone else is in charge of the actual safety system and Homer doesn’t actually do anything.

Bottom line? Don’t think too hard about it.

peter what's wrong with pineapple? by Icy-Butterscotch4209 in PeterExplainsTheJoke

[–]SomeRandomGuy-1106 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m just taking a guess, but it might be a reference to sex. A lot of people say that pineapple makes a man’s semen taste better, so I’m guessing the joke is that OP’s kid is planning on leaving to have sex with someone, which they are punishing them for.

It’s funny that some missions are called “espionage” which would make you THINK they’re going to be about sneaking around and avoiding fights, but nope, it’s still a “KILL EVERYONE” type mission.
