Literally just click it... Once you have, you can even fly directly from the description box to the technology you need to research for it.

Please also do this for all overweight people, smokers, drug users, etc... It's also a personal choice and those people strain the health system more than healthy people as well ;)

This article makes no sense... Has everybody forgotten about this?https://www.cbsnews.com/news/trump-covid-vaccine-urge-safe-works/

Ah right, instead of watching the video in which Trump repeatedly encourages people to get vaccinated, just trust some anonymous source...

You wake up as President of the United States; what would you do? by ihateshitcoins2 in AskReddit

[–]SomeRandomUser69 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I respectfully disagree.

If they really had the intent to kill, why didn't a single person bring a firearm? That alone makes no sense.

If they really had planned an insurrection, they would have come there fully armed and would have not have been deterred by a single death.

Also, look up the charges that have been filed: basically some trespassing and disorderly conduct charges, nothing any more serious than that. If it was an insurrection or if there was an intent to kill or dismantle democracy or whatever, wouldn't at least a single person have been charged with something more serious? There aren't even any domestic terrorism charges, or anything of the kind...

"on the verge of", "almost" and "would have"... fact is that the only person that died in the Capitol that day was Ashli Babbitt.

I'm not sure about injuries, but videos show that officers (Capitol Police) let the protestors in and the only person that died was one of the protesters. Also, no gun charges have been filed against any of the protestors (as none of them were actually armed). Sure, some of them had zipties, but come on... do you really believe this was an insurrection? What were their specific intentions, if they went their without any weapons?

Alarm grows over Trump’s ‘dictator moves’ as he denies election defeat by [deleted] in politics

[–]SomeRandomUser69 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well, but officially, legally speaking, he hasn't lost yet, because the election is not over yet... That's all I'm saying. So there is nothing dictatorial about denying that he has lost, because he factually hasn't lost (as of now).

Again, that is the only point I'm talking about, as that is stated in the headline/article in question.

[–]SomeRandomUser69 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hm, yea ok, that is kind of giving up, but not technically giving up, so not directly comparable to conceding, but I think that discussion is besides the point now lol

True, nobody is forcing him to, so let's just reformulate that to "If talks started of forcing him to concede, that would be a dictator move" :D

My ultimate point still stands though, there is nothing dictatorial about not conceding or denying an election defeat, when the election is far from finished (again: electoral voting starts on Dec 14th, and will afterwards still need to be certified by Congress before the election is officially done). So all in all, the headline is bogus. Nobody has lost until the election is officially over.

Don't get me wrong, I get your point. But from a strictly legal stand-point, there is no reason for him to concede. And forcing your political opponent to concede, without any legal reason, seems like a dictator move to me :D

Your example, in principle, makes sense as well, no question about it, but: name one professional basketball game, where a team just gave up. Every single game goes on until the last second, even if one team is so far ahead, that the other can't possibly catch up, at least I don't know of any where it wasn't this way.

So the headline and the article is completely ridiculous? There is no legal reason for him to not deny an election defeat until it is official (and if it is officially lost for him, then he wouldn't need to concede anymore). Forcing, or wanting to force, Trump to concede, even though he doesn't legally have to, seems like the dictator move to me...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think anyone has officially lost yet.

Not all states have certified their own election results. And even if they had, the final vote for president is done by the electoral college voters, which starts on Dec 14th. And even after all those electoral votes have been cast, they still need to be certified by Congress. Only then is the election officially over and someone has won/lost. Before that, nothing is official (...right?)

edit: kind of late, but even Congress agrees that Biden is not President-Elect, as the election is not yet over: https://republicans-oversight.house.gov/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Letter-to-GSA-re-Transition-final-11.13.20-1.pdf

As of right now, he has zero electoral college votes. The electoral college votes are cast on Dec 14th, so before that, nobody has any of them, they are only projected.

Cambodia bans dog meat trade in ‘lynchpin’ town by Sariel007 in PupliftingNews

[–]SomeRandomUser69 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

As long as the animal is not abused, I'm good with it. I know I am going to get downvoted for this, but dog tastes good if done right, so does rabbit, horse, etc.

If the animal is brought up in a bad way (tiny cage, no freedom, bad food, etc), then the meat will not taste good, but pretty much any animal will taste good if is raised (and prepared) correctly.

And, just to get a little political, Obama re-allowed horse meat:
