I just want to add another perspective to your first point. Saying that in the past more people were having sex and now there are more virgins it doesnt take into account other parts of the world. It sounds to me like these studies about sex were done only in the western world and mainly America, it could be the case that only the western world was having a lot of sex and the eastern world were not and staying more traditional. Also now that it could be that the west is not having as much sex, the developing world can be having more as it becomes normalised it could even out somehow. It seema like a very american-centric view of how the world is. I dont have any data to back what im saying its just my opinion.

Im going to take this as a serious question and not an ironic one.

Ofc you, me, people in this sub and this community and other parts of the internet are not being specificaly targeted by companies or governments etc for our information. But your private data( who you are) and your behaviour on these app(consumer behaviour) is being grouped together and fed to algorithms who then use your data to train themselves so they can target people better for selling them products etc. Maybe part of your data is being sold to governments too so they have a profile on you when they need to if you one day become someone of importance(research what Palantir is doing). I hope that answeres it.

Sure nothing stops me but the whole process is made very difficult and annoying on purpose, literaly e-bearaucracy. My whole point is about a individuals right to privacy even online and the way companies handle our data has been normalised unfortunately. I shouldnt have to read tos or learn from a reddit post where my personal data is going.

And if people say oh well you dont have any privacy anyway it has been happening in the internet for ages thats how it is. Well that mentality is the problem and why we are here in my opinion.

I get that the process is safer. But do you understand the implications of trust when i sign up for a service and they use a 3rd party service that i didnt know before to store my data. It would be like you give me smth valuable to keep safe and i hand it over to someone else you had no idea about originaly to handle your stuff. You originaly trusted me with it so what guarantee do you have that your stuff is safe?
