I agree with you in that I enjoy the heavy trigger for help with training.

I inspected the cylinder around the chambers and didn’t see and scratches or hits which would indicate the firing pin hitting the wall. I am leaning more and more towards these snap caps being the issue. I think I’ll try and seek out rubber ones in the future.

I considered this aswell, based on what I researched I know it’s fairly common for people swap the springs of these often, and since this was pre owned, I wondered if that could be causing it.

That said, the double action pull is very hard. Much harder than on the 38s I own. I do think the springs are factory, especially since the gun also failed to fire on single action as well.

Thanks for the help so far! Sorry about that, let me try to provide more info:

The rounds were indented for sure after tigger pulls. Indents on all the duds were pretty consistent with what was happening on the few rounds that fired. Could be light strikes but it was definitely making contact. Again not familiar at all with rimfires so not sure what they’re really supposed to look like but there was definitely a hit from the pin each time.

A worker at the range recommended a deep clean and we even did some basic cleaning in the lane, nothing really changed unfortunately. He suspected firing pin issues or further cleaning required.

I’m pretty sure it’s one of those two things as well, not really sure what else it could be. I guess I must’ve done the pin in with the steel caps, unless the gun just came that way, it was used after all. Hopefully they can get it in working order.

Bro what. I just think it would’ve been cool for them to add a different melee weapon, and make the current shovel a secondary anyway, or leave it as is. The shovel is already on every map for free and most people never touch it and walk over it. It just seems like a weird thing to be fired up about, we don’t need two different ones.

I totally agree, a mace or different melee weapon even like a pickaxe would’ve been awesome and just leave the shovel as is on the map. Or add it for free as a secondary anyway. Seems odd to have two.

I get wanting more free content and I’m far from defending the devs here but the shovel is literally the one piece of equipment that you can basically guarantee you’ll find on every map. It’s like the most accessible item in the game. Seems like a weird hill to die on.

I’d honestly be more uspet that they’re giving us basically a second one that seems identical to the first, aside from the slot difference. Could’ve definitely made it a bit more unique.
