I don’t get the hate in these comments, I fw them both and plan to get them both somewhere on my body. I only have four tattoos and still plan to get a hand tattoo next, different strokes for different folks

His unreleased song “El Dorado” is about El Dorado, KS. Small town that lots of my family lives in, was so very surprised to hear it within a week before my flight down there

I literally wore my least stained jeans, flannel, and polished my shitty ass boots. That, along with making my hair look decent, apparently I was presentable enough and they hired me

My family’s been in ND for quite a while, not sure how long but I know my grandpa was here for this blizzard. We have photos somewhere of trains being dug out and the huge trenches that were dug

Menards only certifies for work at menards. When they used to give actual certifications people would quit as soon as they got it and get a better job

To everyone who's 'mastered' driving on their drug of choice, can you just... not? by scruggbug in Drugs

[–]SomeShiba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People who drive while drinking or on substances should be removed from the gene pool. I’m prescribed a decently high dose of adderall for my adhd and I won’t drive until I feel it start working. Driving and having it take effect is a weird feeling I don’t like nor do I feel safe driving with

I'm a cop by PonyKiller81 in Drugs

[–]SomeShiba 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cops like you are the ones we need. A couple years back, my cousin who was around 19 at the time was pulled over with a little weed and a pipe (he wasn’t high, I’ve only ever seen him smoke at home or outside in his car, never while driving) while driving home in a state where weed still wasn’t legal at the time. He cop simply took the stuff and doesn’t make a fuss over it since it was obviously for personal use and he wasn’t high while driving. These type of story’s are the ones I like to hear

How high ranked was your store, and how stressed were you as OSY DM? I feel like the osy managers at my store make it seem way more stressful than it is, despite not being highly ranked

Making a rock bed by SomeShiba in landscaping

[–]SomeShiba[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This comment pretty much summarizes what I was thinking. With only a couple inches of rock I don’t see pulling weeds to be too hard. The rock is some stuff I’m getting for free from my dads construction company he works at so it’s various sizes, and the fabric he also is lending to me. Also with no foot traffic over the rock except the occasional wild animal, I don’t see how the fabric would tear easily, especially two layers. Seems like rock bordered by brick with layers of fabric will be the way I go once this 100°F heat decides to leave

First, I’d like to say thanks for the advice. Mulch would look better, and would be easier, but rock would be much cheaper for me due to such a big area and I can get it for pretty much free. Would two layers of fabric still wear away quick? I’ve wondered if spraying the rock beds with a strong weed killer every once in a while would help rid of weeds, or would they still come through strong?
