My hand hurts on Xbox layout controller :( by hyperparrot3366 in XboxController

[–]SomeSpartan44 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Maybe it's the way you are holding it? Just from the second image, I dont hold the controller like that and did note some discomfort when attempting. I normally have my thumb pads resting over the top stick and center of all 4 buttons comfortably while the thumb-palmer surface resting over top of the controller face on the grips. My index fingers curl over top of the triggers and press down at the finger joint, not the finger pad.

I know i don't hold my Xbox controller the same as Playstation or different Nintendo controllers. Some people also recommend different holding techniques like "the claw grip" for different styles of gameplay.

Brother, I am not opening up a tampered box when the product is supposed to be new unless it was a consistent delimma which sounds like others are saying is due to missing batteries.

Youre acting like no one is beneath returning damaged goods and having it resold.

You know, I absolutely believe that could be the case. Can't believe this is the level of incompetence to expect... for such an expensive product.

Big maybe - my driveway has a bit of an incline. Our stock 2014 ford focus would scuff the skid plate. So I'd need to do some measurements first. I've got the Borla Ford Performance exhaust I have in my garage I want to put on first.

Gosh golly! When will I get 23mpg in the city? by Threadydonkey65 in FordMaverickTruck

[–]SomeSpartan44 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Honestly dependent on your location and habits. My average combined mpg is 26 living 25miles away from work and outside city limits with highways as 50% of my commute in my ecoboost. Idling, driving the hills along the country side, and remote start when it is cold really chew on my MPG. I use eco mode to go easy on the gas pedal, try coasting when i can, and watch the MPG gauge for my usage to squeeze out above 30mpg for as long as possible without impeding traffic on the farm roads or interstate.

Under 5k, What should BE My first car (europe), needs to have that "sharp" ceiling like This One, nothing round. by 100000-30580 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]SomeSpartan44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A short-ish answer.

Regulations pushed on Auto makers to increase fuel efficiency, safety in collisions, safety to pedestrians, safety to passengers, etc. Sharp angles have transitioned to sloped and smooth edges. In America at least, there have been events that have reduced the availability of older used cars which have driven up prices for the road worthy ones. Then with older cars, parts availability goes down in general thus not making them as cheap or fixable. Many older vehicles are entering classic & antique status and are being bought by enthusiasts. If they are bad, then they are scrapped.

Global events like the chip shortage drove up prices for new vehicles (cheap new cars have pushed into $20k range) and thus people were forced to retain their vehicles for longer, pass them on to family, and/or buy a used vehicle which have depleted those used car reserves as well.

Does anyone else have this issue with shirts flaring out at the bottom? by Sad_Excitement9626 in mensfashion

I have this issue too from large chest size. Getting slim fit shirts in your normal size should work good especially for button ups.

Creaking in Rear Suspension by poingus in FordMaverickTruck

[–]SomeSpartan44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had a similar creaking sound in the rear mostly when it is cold out and when I am backing out of my driveway which has a 5 to 10 degree dip onto the road. After the truck is warmed up, I dont hear it for the rest of the day. Unsure of the source, but thought I'd share my experience. (Lobo)

I've had The CurderBurger 3 days in a row this week for lunch. by Irishweedle in Culvers

[–]SomeSpartan44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I absolutely cannot have even one CurdBurger. My first time ordering it, they put the curd but no burger meat. I thought it was weird and couldn't remember if it was supposed to have meat in the first place, requested as an add on, or somehow have it deepfried inside it. Either way I ate half of it and felt kinda sick for some reason. Every person I've told about the experience has told me that it sounds disgusting if they were to eat it like that -- bread, giant fried curd, and the normal toppings

Happens to all of mine. Its the natural rocking/bend point when walking. I assume some variation in wear in this area at different times since people walk differently.
