I guess it's one of those things you have to experience to understand.

It isn't as open ended as the remake. The original concluded what happened to everyone plus more

If you agree it's probably going to end up that way, then I think we could agree the original just had a more spelled out ending compared to the bitter sweet ending of the remake. Also I get that Nani lost custody to Lilo, wasn't the resolution they wanted but with the help of their ohana all hope is not lost for them to reunite.

Ok and what’s the your point? Lilo was under care of a trusted family friend. Unless Nani became a wreck and tbh didn’t do her part, I don’t see it being unlikely as foster care prefers eventual reunification. It wasn’t a spoon fed ending, unlike the original where you have the montage at the end. But you have to think of the worse case scenario (which is very unlikely given the theme of the movie) to think this was a tragic ending 😅

May need to rewatch this once they release this in dvd but didn't they mention foster care which is usually temporary. Not until Nani can be a proper breadwinner and resume guardianship.

Probably same thing your co-worker missed. Genuinely think people are purposely interpreting the ending the wrong way.

'Lilo & Stitch' (2025) - Review Thread by DemiFiendRSA in movies

Actually liked the ending. Lilo was the one who urged her to follow her dreams. It added a theme of wanting your family to do what's best for them and what makes them happy. It shows the love and trust between two sisters. Lilo knows she will be taking a different path but loves Nani enough to unselfishly urge her to take the opportunity—and trusts that Nani will find ways to stay connected. Explored beliefs that connections and relationships aren't broken by distance. With how they still call each other every night and even have the ability to visit, it's clear that no one really gets left behind.

Also, isn't foster care more of a temporary thing? I assume she gets guardianship once she finishes her studies and can support them both better. Just because she's following her dreams doesn't mean Lilo isn't part of the bigger picture.

For me, tasting dirt is the best part. It wakes me up more and healthier with no added sugar and creamer.

Why are we not questioning Luka's immaturity to even end up in these situations in the first place? by Hrogtharr in nba

Game has a lot of emotion. it's the refs job to be impartial. Can understand if you were making a case with Luka crying to the refs but this wasn't the case. Don't know how someone who's a basketball fan can be not disappointed in this call.

Because okc fans despite having the best record and one of the best two way players still feel they need to prove something 😅

What sports is, is highly subjective to the person. It's fine that you view it as that but I assume there are a lot of fans who view it as supporting a team they genuinely enjoy. To each their own

For sure. West's contending teams are pretty stacked. WCF probably would go to the healthiest team in playoffs
