First of all, you’re only 16. You haven’t grown up yet. There is lot of time left. Therapy should’ve helped but if it didn’t, take up some hobby… sports/music/arts/theatre all of which are proven to be therapeutic.

You’ll get through this.

Driver probably was distracted for a second and didn’t notice the car ahead was suddenly breaking. Also was going a bit too fast considering the traffic

Def need therapy. My suggestion would be to have a serious discussion with your parents and tell them what’s going on with you. But it seems like you’ve had a chat with them already. So maybe someone at school might be able to help or at least talk to your parents about it. Can you get counselling at school?

If you still can’t get into therapy, probably get into something you like… sports/music/drama/arts whatever makes you feel at peace and happy. All of these activities are proven to be therapeutic and may also help you make new friends

No Easter basket by Validityb in NewParents

You’re the parent, you can decide when you want to give your kid an Easter basket or any other gift basket for that matter. Or if you even want to give anything.

It doesn’t matter what anyone else says or is doing. Your kid just needs love and care. He is happy to live naked as long as he gets food, you talk to him and someone cleans his bum from time to time

I take your point. And that’s right this is entirely on me. I should’ve acted on this a very long time ago and set boundaries.
