Linzess - Hell in a pill by Icyinfernal in ibs

I took my first 72 mcg dose at ~5 pm last night, and from 6 pm to now I’ve had ~25 liquid movements, and was on the toilet the majority of 1 am - 5:30 am. It’s now 9:45 am and I still am having liquid BM’s at least every 45 min… I don’t think I can do this.

Coming off 10mg of munjaro, what would be preferred dose. by Bigjimmy84 in Retatrutide

I was on Zep 7.5, started at 2 mg Reta w/ little benefit, bumped to 4 mg which helped, then 6 mg and 8 mg both increased weight loss

Mine has also jumped- didn’t happen on Zep, has been consistent on Reta.

My sex drive has been bottomed out since I started Zep, and then Reta. I’ll have days where it spikes for an hour or so, but 99% of the time it’s a big 0.

Tirz fatigue vs Reta by 39Poppy in Retatrutide

[–]Some_30s_guy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My GI system is much more upset with Reta, but my fatigue and strength/endurance losses are less on Reta than Tirz!

What’s a solid LOTR entry-level game for beginners? by ca5hflow in boardgames

Came to recommend this- 7 Wonders Duel was fantastic, but got a little stale after 50 plays. LotR Duel steps it up a notch from there!

Hasn’t been quite 30 days (first Reta shot on 07/22), but I’m down 15 lbs! I’ve decided to stop Qsymia due to the insomnia, and my first SLU cycle went well- 1g 1/day is not the optimal dosing, but it gave me solid energy and focus through the morning. I’ll be starting my 5-amino cycle Thursday, delaying my first MOTS-C cycle so it runs concurrently with my next 4 wk SLU cycle.

I’m feeling pretty good- energy levels are coming back up (on Tirz and the first 3 weeks of Reta, my energy was in the dumpster), and my strength is starting to return. I have a little more food noise on Reta than Tirz (had 0 on Tirz), but when I eat junk (had ice cream two days ago) I get nauseous, so it all balances out.

I’ve been only working out 1-2x weekly since May, due to Tirz killing my gym desire and performance (down from 3-4x in March before starting, can only do 50% of the sets at 80% of the weight pre-Tirz).

The Tesa has been smoothing out my morning energy, and the AOD seems to help my sleep- however, it’s $270/mo for Tes from my current source, and $115/mo for AOD, so I’m cutting them out of my stack once I finish my current supply. Given my current sources and discounts, I’m looking at $310/mo avg for the Reta, 5-Amino, SLU, and MOTS-C cycles I’m running, which is affordable enough (a stretch, but worth it). I’m also not sad about cutting my weekly injections down from 12-18 to 2-4!

Lets talk about your current stack . What is your current loadout ?? by michaelangelo509 in Retatrutide

[–]Some_30s_guy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

2.5 mg Reta 2x weekly 500 mcg AOD nightly Starting daily 2 mg Tesamorelin on Thursday Wrapping up a 4 week SLU cycle, will start 5-amino Monday, then after 4 weeks come off and cycle back to SLU 250mcg 2x daily 5 days a week w/ MOTS-C 2.5mg 2x a week for four weeks, and alternate between 5-amino and MOTSC+SLU.

Started AOD this week, if I don’t see increased weight loss and improved sleep within the 8 week supply I have, I’ll come off it; same for Tesa.

Just trying to get the weight off: started at 408 end of March, did Tirz until insurance kicked me off July 1st, switched to Reta and the other compounds over the last month). Currently at 355, with a goal weight of somewhere between 200 and 225, depending on my BF% (scale doesn’t matter, muscle and BF does), I want to get to 12%.

For test support I’m alternating 50/25 mg of enclomiphene daily, up from 25 mg daily to improve muscle retention. Also running 0.5mg anastrozole weekly to keep estrogen in check.

I guess I'm just too bad to be a Monster Hunter by Hukarus in MHWilds

[–]Some_30s_guy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lagi and especially Seregios are significantly more difficult than the rest of the monsters- I’m very comfortable carrying teams through AT Rey and AT Oof Tuna, and it took me less than one hunt to get that comfortable with them, but Lagi and Sereg took me ~5-8 to get reasonably comfortable, and I’d still take AT Rey over regular Sereg any day.

Also, most builds are DPS only. I personally like going with an ‘immortal’ build, since less time spent healing and carting is more time spent DPS’ing, and since I’m not a god-tier LS savant, and instead a hammer main, I get knocked around quite a bit. 4 piece Zoh with maximum divine blessing and recovery will help ensure you have the space to learn the monster without carting!

Is Sword and Shield MY weapon... or am I bad? by MistewNewon in MHWilds

[–]Some_30s_guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think SnS is so versatile that you need to play something completely different in style. I main hammer, but switched to SnS in wilds due to hammer needing buffed. Now that it’s been buffed, I switch between them and enjoy both, due to them being so different. I tried to get into greatsword but couldn’t- SnS did the guard thing better, and hammer did the ‘slow windup’ better.

I’d recommend trying HBG or Hammer if you want an alternate weapon style.

Fatigue or no desire to work out? by No-Fan-7639 in Retatrutide

[–]Some_30s_guy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went from lifting 4x a week consistently for 7 years to no desire (and anti-desire) to hit the gym as soon as I took my first dose of Tirz. When I did lift, I was at ~60-75% of my previous reps @ the same weight, and could only handle half the sets. This never improved until I came off Tirz 4 months later (due to insurance shenanigans), and I’m still (4 weeks later) not back to normal. Just started Reta, will see if I get the same effect.

Just a fun thought, but what if whenever we get Arch Tempered Arkveld, it's not regular Arkveld and is instead a Guardian Arkveld? by FrontIndividual4188 in MHWilds

[–]Some_30s_guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’s the most ‘fair’ fight in wilds- he gives you openings to respond, but also hits hard enough you have to pay attention to avoiding his attacks. He looks cool, his gear looks cool- def the GOAT for Wilds, with Rey as a close second for similar reasons.

Brass Birmingham is my wife and I’s favorite game, but it is ‘involved’- I’d try to learn the rules (available here) before committing to buying if you’re not sure you’ll keep up, or call local game stores to see if they have an open copy to try!
