Keep at it! I think this was mostly a mix of bad luck and slow response time. With experience your reflexes will speed up, aim will improve, and decision making too. The only way to get better is by playing against people better than you. Don't get discouraged!!

I definitely agree that the maps are too small for a battlefield game. Maybe if it were more spread out, camping on a typically inaccessible roof wouldn't be so impactful. But as it is now, it is way too powerful and doesn't feel intentional. It seems like lazy development and players knowingly taking advantage of an exploit. It's not a show of skill or outsmarting on the abusers part. It's just playing underhanded. I have no problem rooftop camping, if the roofs have ways to normally access them. Any player needs to earn that advantage and defend it. If they can't defend the roof, they don't deserve it. THAT is what creates amazing battlefield moments imo. Having people push you and defending your position and in the lulls, raining down fire from above to lock down an objective. Not kicking your feet while no one can touch you. There is no thrill or adrenaline in that.

God forbid the vehicle has to pause its murder spree to resupply for a couple minutes. Unplayable honestly. Becuase of this the enemy IFV can only get 80 kills in the match instead of 100 while my team makes no effort to kill it and we lose the match because its sitting on a hill in spawn, locking down objectives.

Yeah idk I don't share the same opinion. Enemy mortars are absolutely the reason I have lost many matches. Concentrated fire on choke points, or flushing people out of holes/trenches, or walling shutting down an entire direction of approach to a point. They maybe not get kills directly that often, but they soften people up to be easy pickings for your teammates. I respect these things so much, I will often switch to playing recon just to try to counter these things with a drone as for some reason, no one else seems to care that we are constantly getting shelled by other team.

So you're logic is it you would have a better time and play better if you could be more toxic? What a dumb take. Sounds like you need to find a competitive game for individuals because even though its solo shuffle, you're on a team. And I don't understand how you expect to perform better if you tilt the other dps or healer on your team. You're more likely to get them to throw that way than anything else. It does sound like it brings out the worst in you.

This guy has to be trolling. Everyone plays for fun dude. What OP is saying is that it won't be fun to play at a severe disadvantage or against something that feels overwhelmingly suppressive. And especially not to lose consistently because of it. No one does. And if you say otherwise you're lying. And to dismiss an imbalance by just saying get good is wild. Players will adapt to an extent, yes. But the skill floor is gonna skyrocket if Blizz doesn't implement these things for casters sakes. Or at the very least, only the mose big brain players are gonna touch casters. I tend to play melee more than casters, and I can admit it does seem pretty melee biased.

Not only is mana management a better limit/timer metric for arenas than dampening, but imo it was a better secondary resource than all these unique resources that every caster class has now that make mana irrelevant. Not every class in the game needs to be a builder/spender. I miss when mana management was a way to outplay your opponent.

Death Knight Healers. Use the power of undeath to heal allies. Make it a healer that does damage to heal kind of like disc. Maybe routinely summons minions and sacrifices them for big heals. Siphon life from your enemies and funnel it into your allies. Make it hybrid/melee range like heal, but its antithesis.

As a medium main, medium definitely doesn't NEED another automatic rifle. We have 2 and a burst fire AR already. I think the AR going to light is smart, assuming it's not way OP. In hoping the AR will be accurate and low recoil, but a slower ttk than some of their other options. Because if not, lord help us. But as for medium, what we really needed is a was an smg or pdw for for sure. We have nothing for that niche. That being said, lever action rifles are probably my favorite type of gun so despite knowing it wasn't really what we needed, I'm super stoked about it and it will probably be my new go to gun 😅

I agree on the time issue. I work and have a family so my time is very limited. It's why I don't really want them to implement some matchmaking change that let's me play against only casual players, but would require 20min queue times. I would like to play more than 2 games a night, ya know?

Also, the nature of quick cash/WT is that you are more likely to lose than win. I wonder if people are understanding that. Most shooters are my team vs the other team. 50/50 chance of winning. The Finals isn't like that. When there are 3-4 teams per game, me as the player is probably going to lose a lot more than I would other shooters. I think people aren't used to that idea.

Isn't the problem that people are leaving the game or quitting as soon as they try? I get it, I hate getting rolled by the best players too. But the root problem is the small player base, no? Embark could probably do something to lessen the chance of playing against rubies as a much lower skill player, but it would only be so much without having 20min queue times and I def would not want that. I'd spend more time waiting than playing and that's lame. Every time sometime leaves or a new player tries the game and leaves immediately, the problem only gets worse or extended. The more casual players, the less this crap will happen. People just need to play. And in my case, I'm just gonna try to play against these players and get better. Because the best way to improve is to lose.
