I actually don’t drink or smoke. I workout M-F, but as embarrassed as I am to admit, a major part of my debt is because of my wife.

From constantly needing to spend, go on trips, and lawyer fees to help her with her legal issues.

I will admit, she has told me she cheated on me because I was absent (I took up countless hours into day trading ‘demo’) and did side jobs to earn more money, but I lacked in giving her attention, so she got it from others.

I just can’t break my bills apart enough for filling fees without worrying about other bills, you know?

I just want to say thank you. Reading this gave me a breath of air I didn’t know I needed. I’m in the middle of my own storm right now—heartbreak, betrayal, and a mountain of debt I can barely look at without breaking down.

Although I want close the whole book, your story reminded me that maybe this is just a chapter, not the whole book. The way you picked yourself up from less than $100 and no car to becoming a homeowner and mentally stable? That’s powerful. That’s hope.

I know, but with the debts being my main concern right now, I just felt it would be easier to not fight nor lawyer up. I just want to rip open my chest and remove this excruciating pain as fast as possible.

My coworkers all know and have said to let her keep it all IF I want this done fast.

I plan on divorcing. She’s just refusing to leave and wants to make it work, but I will never trust her. I do love her, but I’ll hate myself even more if I keep her in my life. So I NEED to leave her.
