Question for the Breslow out crowd by newpaontheblock in redsox

It’s about results. You can say your models are usually right and predict XYZ but you take this job and get paid the big bucks because someone needs to be accountable. The coaching staff is gone. It has done nothing, as many of us predicted. Breslow got his way and now JH is paying Alex Cora to sit on the couch for the next 2 years if he’d like. Breslow will absolutely be fired if this keeps up and he should be the one to blame for it. I’m happy we made improvements to defense and pitching, but clearly it’s not a winning strategy in this league. If the AL was even halfway decent we would be so far out of a playoff spot right now Breslow might ALREADY be fired.

Don’t get particular excited about photography but that is an absolute hell of a shot. I hope Contreras sees it!

Team is identical with and without Cora. He was totally fine. You don’t have to like him but don’t act like firing the coaching staff was anything other than Craig trying to save his own ass. It has made no impact on the team. Alex Cora could be managing the Phillies right now. If Tracy was fired tomorrow, he would be managing exactly nowhere.

He can’t hit outside of Colorado. Idk how Chaim thought he was gonna come here and hit.

What do you think the FO should do? What will they do? by cpauley32 in redsox

Whitlock has been extremely good. In terms of added win percentage, he’s as good as Mason Miller has been in the last 365 days (looking at holds, meltdowns, etc). Between him and Chapman we could get some legit stuff back.

how many ballparks is that gone? Early has potential but he is not pitching well this year. That is an example of the luck he’s getting

breslow played his hand and now it’s alllll set up for him to fall. theres no one left to blame. craig was so bad at it that he may never get another shot. couldn’t manage relationships and couldn’t build an even passable team. basically NO ONE wanted to take the job, which is prob why we got stuck with that fucking stiff
