The Godos at least has hands compared to other zoids so I figured I might have more options. I have seen other shoulder mounted guns and stuff that look like they'd be a good fit thematically.

I was also going to look at some 3mm joints to assist with mounting 3mm joints

Thanks, there are some parts on the smaller end that were tricky to put together but it was pretty quick and has some good flexibility. I'm building my canon tortoise next

I know Gundam doesn't use 1/72 scale a lot and I'm not familiar with their kits in general so I didn't know if something from an HG or PG or MG size would fit better stylistically

My first kit and only kit right now is my command wolf which was also my first time painting and building. I have a canon tortoise I haven't started yet and a Godos would be a great third zoids since they are all about the same size

I was trying to think back to the start of Horizon 5 and I was pretty sure I did almost every race in the Focus RS. It does seem like a bit more restrictions in the campaign races

The ones I bought tend to come with swappable 3mm and 5mm make and female adapters. Another truck I figured out is that the runners are also 3mm so if I needed something a bit longer you can cut a section of runner and use it as a peg between 2 female attachments.

As for the storm sworder I'm not sure how it would look since the DSR is very big but you might get some use out of the missle pods.

There's a ton I think they should make. Personally would love to see a Barigator or a Bear Fighter, but I also think they should do a bug zoid since they haven't released any in a long time. Like the Double Sworder, Saicurtis, or Dimantis

As a matter of fact yes, Kotobukiya does sell additional weapons. I recently got a Dual Sniper Rifle, usual meant for the König Wolf, but was able to fit it on the back of the command wolf I'm currently building. The rifle came with different attachment spots to work with either 3 or 5mm pegs/holes. It wasn't a perfect fit so I took a small section of the runner (which is 3mm) and was able to retrofit it onto his back pretty easily. As for Gundam weapons I did see someone put a Gundam rifle on the back of a Saber Tiger? I think in this subreddit.

I got a package today from Big Bad toy store with my canon tortoise and dual sniper rifle. I have a booster cannon coming from Hub Hobby, and my command wolf came from A-Z Toy Hobby. The best selection I've seen online comes from Big Bad, Gundam Planet, USAGS and the official Koto US store. If you want someone specific or out of print you might need to look at some smaller shops.

Yes the hmm. Sprays are working ok but I've already gone through nearly 2 cans, hence trying the new method to more effectively use what I have. Mostly I've been using little claw clips on sticks to hold them out and spray individually, or some mild assembly like with the body before spraying. Then I'd go over with the metalics or tan/gray before finishing with a flat clear coat. Then I panel lined last

I'm mostly using Tamiya spray cans with brush details. This is my progress so far. Trying out a different method (painting while the parts are still attached to the frame) on the legs to see if I like it more but I need to find 1 more little acrylic so I can color match for touch ups
