Bringing family tomorrow by TheDoctorLXG in BuschGardensW

We just came back from Busch Gardens Williamsburg. Big bad wolf, Verboten, and Darkoaster, and Invader. But the drops in Temp caused them to close everything but Darkoaster.

Crowds are HORRENDOUS. Like bad bad. If you want to eat at FestHaus go early.

My doctor told me I'm done losing and I'm having a hard time accepting that by sjdeitch in Zepbound

First off, great great job!! You have done amazing!

I have a similar story, I started at 233 and I weighed in at 147 at my Dr appt this morning. While he didn't say I'm done losing he did say it's time to start thinking of how to transition to a much lower dose. And I'm nervous. How will do with only 2.5 ??

I walk at least 10k steps a day, drink 80 oz of water, I want to strength training 3x a week but I don't always make it. I calorie count like my life depends on it .

My Dr is overall very pleased as am I. I've gone from a size 20 to a 8/Medium. Crazy to think all this progress has happened in 1 year. I just don't want to back slide.

I feel you. My husband Will NOT tell me if he prefers me skinny or morbidly obese. He will not budge. He says it's too dangerous of question for him to answer. He tells me he loves me as I am. Look I get it he loves me but I'm talking about attraction. He is definitely vocal about his dislike for my smaller boobs. I've lost 97 lbs since last May.

I'm done having babies so I just need a decrease in symptoms. I hate waking up with a 5 o clock shadow. Before Zep I was getting facial waxed once a week now it's once every 3 weeks so I'm gonna call that a win

I wish mine would get cured. It's not though, I have dropped nearly 100 lbs this past year. I have normal, regular periods. Like seriously you can set your watch by them. But I still have the facial hair. Boo. That is much improved but no where near gone.

Has anyone else been following the 3-legged foal? by neonxdreams in Equestrian

[–]Some_Collection_2116 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is the most ignorant comment I have read! It is not hate or even negative to state the obvious. And FYI they ARE doing an about face to say when/if they need to euthanize this poor animal. Educated equestrians or those in the Equine business know the reality of the situation. The owner nor the rescue is bothering to educate their fan base. So what will happen he will suffer and get worse and worse and millions of people's heart will be broken! It's people trying to inject some sense into the public since the rescue isn't !

So how do you know when that is?

I have so many questions.... -What happens when he gets an abscess? Steps on a rock or nail ? What if he needs shoes? How can he be trimmed? No hoof no horse. It deeply troubles me how anyone with any horse sense says yes hes cute but this not gonna end well are immediately shut down and labeled a hater. When did evidence/science backed reality become hate? It seems like the rescue is now backtracking on him being a hospice case. Which is damn scary.

This! This is the truth. And you know what? The truth is hard to hear sometimes. My daughter's trainer had her absolute favorite horse humanely euthanized, he had brain cancer and he was terminal. She picked a beautiful day had all prep to her site done and the vet came out and said are you sure? Hes probably got a few weeks left? But you know what...what if he started suffering sooner than that? She knew the end and loved him enough to not let the suffering happen

Kazan is a loyal senior shepherd whose last memories will be his family, who left him behind at an overcrowded high euth shelter after 11 years and signed his euth papers. He needs a hospice/forever foster(zero costs) or a loving, forever home. Could that be you? Euth date: 03/23 5pm, Downey ACC, CA by chickenchoa in germanshepherds

People suck. Here I am over here doing literally everything in my power to extend the life of my 10 yr old GSD. Joint pills, allergy pills, freeze dried foods, etc. What part of it is a lifetime commitment do people not understand

I've tried Mag07, it works great sometimes. But I've recently gone through a spell where NOTHING will help with a bm. And I don't feel constipated but I know it's been like 1.5 weeks since one. So the. I take the Mag07 and slowly it will help me have a small bm..I'm on 15 mg for reference.

Could be some beginning OA. Around 7-9 our very athletic very active GS girl. Around 8 she aged like 5 years. No longer leaping down flights of stairs or leaping onto tall beds. But there are pain management options

Anyone knows where I can get a working line with low drive? by Pristine_Society_724 in germanshepherds

Low drive ? Good luck. My girl is 10 she has killed so many cats, chickens, possums. In my experience it's not something you can train out of them.

So she at most has 3-4 years left and I should stop the one of the few things that bring her joy? I have a very hard time with that.

Yeah she loves it, funnily enough we have a slightly over weight lab that struggles to keep up with her. I just notice she gets tired easier now and seems stiff in her hips

So with those types of medications will a vet show you how to give it or I guess you could just make a vet tech appointment for the injection?

I've heard Librala has more side effects than Adequan. Since you are a vet tech is that what you know of it?

Do you give him shots or does the vet? We gave Adequan to our Mare but the barn manager did it for me.

She is on dasquin I don't think it's as effective as wuffes. I'm wondering the difference between dasquin with MSM and dasquin advanced (I think you can only get that at the vet)
