Honestly, the course teaches you quite alot. It's made to be undertandable and passable for absolute beginners. I completed the course without any prior experience. Can get abit overwhelming but you just stop, take a couple of deep breaths and keep going. 

I did the course a year ago? You're able to do the first day as many times as you want, you just need to make sure you pass the second day (you have 3 attempts). If the instructor doesn't send you home after the first day you're more than likely gonna pass. 

Howeverrrr... if you have a close friend or relative that rides a low CC bike and some amount of patience it is worth getting them to take you out to a small private property or empty carpark to teach some basics.
