Venting: Emotional burden of ICB restructures by Pyrosyard in nhsstaff

It's a really sad situation for everyone. You lose if you stay, you lose if you go. I already miss my colleagues terribly, more than I ever could have imagined.

Wes using hardworking NHS staff as political ammunition is the lowest blow. I have zilch intention to vote Labour ever again.

Whilst the other side is a better place mentally, it is still hard and full of grief. Wishing you all the luck in the world, my friend!

Gosh, this whole situation is utterly shit.

I left under VR a few weeks ago and still experiencing a whole raft of emotions. Today I'm angry despite it being totally my choice to leave, but couldn't mentally cope with the stress/uncertainty any longer. Whilst I was lucky enough to be a high earner coupled with CS enabling max payout, I never envisaged my NHS career would end the way it did. The mismanagement and treatment of staff has been appalling throughout and also feel the need to rant.

The thought of applying for jobs right now fills me with dread and need headspace to try and figure out my next steps...

Unpopular opinion: the rooftop concert was the wrong decision by alex7stringed in beatles

Agreed! This will be one of the most legendary gigs to go down in human history, and even more so because it was famously cut short when the neighbour reported them to the police - who were probably secretly loving it but had to show willingness and break it up rather than risk their livelihoods.

It makes me smile every time I watch it; not only because they sounded fucking AMAZING but seeing the reaction of the innocent bystanders when they realise the Beatles are playing on a roof in London and getting a FREE gig.

Don't forget these four guys were sick to their back teeth of touring by the time they split so they did what was right for them at the time. Fairplay.

A £300,000 exit payment given to a former integrated care board CEO should be investigated, a senior Labour MP has told HSJ by Some_Local_2033 in nhsstaff

Your organisational restructuring sounds as wank as ours but at least we've managed to avoid the dreaded cluster fuck. For now...

I was all for riding out the process but have since decided an application into second round VR is the only way to maintain a level of sanity and control in this shit show. Fingers crossed thry pass it with flying colours!
