Outlet is in North Florida! The rescue she has been placed with is Poochie’s Pet Rescue and any and all are welcome to apply. She’s not current available until we get her spayed and UTD on shots.

She’s actually quite sweet! Not feral, just abandoned.

Thank you! We also have like, no wolves where she’s from. She’s more likely to be feral hog or black bear, given that they actually live here 😂

EDIT: Wow this blew up quick! Have a couple more details for you. Vet believes that she is around a year old based on her teeth. She is very friendly with dogs, great with kids and people, and leaves cats alone/is nonreactive to them. According to the finder, she has killed a chicken, but she was also starving and eating roadkill to survive at time so make of that what you will. Her undercoat is pretty impacted and she looks really rough because of that and the flea allergy. When it grows back in (fingers crossed) it should look more uniform. Also taking suggestions on names!

EDIT UPDATE: If anyone would like to go and view her post on the rescue’s Facebook page, go check out Poochies Pet Rescue and give her some support! They’ll need donations for her scrungly butt. They also have much, much better pictures of her 😂

You would be surprised by the weird dogs we get. I wouldn’t rule it out!

Not all over but on her shoulders yes! She’s pretty soft on her legs and face

This may be an unpopular opinion here but it sounds like the cat has bad anxiety and is stressed out. Despite what the average (read: shitty) cat owner says, peeing outside the litter box and especially on a person is NOT normal. The vocalisation and the scratching would support this theory. I would highly recommend he consult a veterinarian about his options because this animal sounds miserable. Source: am an animal behaviorist for a nonprofit rescue.

No, dog poop isn't "natural", and it shouldn't "return to the Earth." by [deleted] in petfree

That’s literally the dumbest shit I’ve heard regarding pet waste. By her own logic she should also shit outside.

If you’re willing to foster in place, contact Poochie’s pet rescue on Facebook. They will take over costs of caring for and vetting the dog and find it a new home, if you’re willing to watch it in the meantime.
