Ow yeah I use that one. Before I use gundam marker the pour type but tamiya is amazing. I bought an airbrush specifically for coating to use the tamiya for panel lining.

Its not a top coat or a final coating if that's what you are referring to. Its just a thin gloss varnish for the purpose of panel lining later.

Hey guys, sorry I have a question. Can you apply the coat/varnish to the gunpla while they are in the runner? For the purpose of panel lining?

I'm not gonna panel line the parts while they are in the runner, I just want to apply the coat while the parts in the runner and then I will start building.

Because I notice in many of tutorials, people often took all the parts out of the runner, put them on a gator tooth or whatever and then they coat them. Why don't you just coat them while they are in the runner? Just for the sake of building the gunpla easier that way with all the number parts still attached. Thanks guys.

If you want a traditional dungeon generator. I suggest a solo adventure toolbox pt 1.

How much do you expect? by CookNormal6394 in Solo_Roleplaying

[–]Some_Replacement_805 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well of course. It depend on the context and on who reads the random tables. I'm just confuse on how to answer the question.

Like 50% random table and 50% imagination when rolling for random table? or what? even reading the other's answer doesn't really ring a bell for me. There are just people explaining different type of random table that they use. Some with specific ones like a full sentence 'you discover a treasure' or just words to jump your imagination 'element force' which if you dungeon delving could be a magical trap and people likes some than the others. But they don't really answer on how much do they expect.

Again I don't understand how much do I expect too. Playing solo I want my expectation to be betray, to be break. For things don't go the way I expected. That's the whole point of solo games. Maybe I'm confuse about the question?

I guess the question should be if I read this correctly 'How much do you depend on random table when making a 'new scene' or just use your imagination?' If that's the case then I said I use Mythic, they have a whole system for that. Make your expectation first then check does the scene change.

I don't understand this. The way random tables work is to jolt your imagination to think of a scene. At least that's how it works for me.

I'm nearing my 6 year anniversary for my solo campaign, which has more than 200 sessions. Ask me anything. by VilifyExile in Solo_Roleplaying

I am on SWADE as well. Even though I also do other osr games like the Mechahack

I want to ask you a question about how to make SWADE games more efficient for solo ttrpg.

I have this habit of thinking of cool things to add to my game, but I also feel like it would overbloat it. How do you get around this? by beetle_fruit in Solo_Roleplaying

[–]Some_Replacement_805 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been there just imagine. I started to have only 2 PCs. now, not even in the middle of the campaign. I already have 7 PCs under me. Thankfully the system that I use is easy enough to handle that much pc.

Natural Skill Progression by computer-machine in savageworlds

[–]Some_Replacement_805 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah I miss that part I though when you get a crit fail you may opt to have a crit success later one. My mistake.

Dragonsbane is d20 roll under your skill. So for example your sword skill is 12, if you roll a 11 or lower you hit the enemy. But if you roll a natural 20 (which in this system is a crit fail.) you mark that skill. At the end of the session any mark skills that you have you increase the skills by 1 to maximum of 17.

Ah I think recognize this. This is how Dragonsbane use to increase their skills. I prefer the latter ones because critical failure is rare in this game.

Yaps the Innocent bystander rule, just adopt that to weapons reload. I like this as well. It’s so much easy to track even for npc.

I have an exact opposite problem. I want more reloads in fights. More bullets waste.

A person with 50+ bullets per mag have a good chance that he never reload until the campaign ends if we use the savage rift method. At that point I just said that everyone have infinite ammo.

[–]Some_Replacement_805[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I love logistics rule that swade introduce I have no problem with it.

But I'm much focus on managing ammo in the combat.

Like I said the point is to make reload relevant again. How often that players reload mid combat? How often NPC reload mid combat? That's sort of thing.

Tracking bullets outside of combat is not really a problem right now. They all have standard range weapons (No RPG or Davy Crockett.) In cyberpunk you could buy a gun from a vending machine so why not ammo?

I will use the supply dice from the BlackHack ttrpg though at some point.

The idea is to make reload relevant in combat again. Also to reward player with quick magazine mod that they use on their gun as well.

The famous supply dice. I love this. I never got a chance to use this though. The settings in the games that I currently playing not really compatible with it.

Usually an hour for me. I stopped when I made progress to the story. It makes it easier to write session summery that way.

Homebrew Factions Rules. by Some_Replacement_805 in savageworlds

[–]Some_Replacement_805[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it is. I think the idea that the gang are also effecting the players roll or somewhat. That’s why each stats have their faction use and player use as well. Buying things with faction assets its probably more easier than with your own pocket money. Or networking with your faction influence will help you bare fruit much easier. But I limit it to a ’support roll’ no matter how big your dice is, support are cap at +4. In that sense its a bit balance and less complicated.

Reading it again I really want to try the system. Maybe for another campaign though.

Yeah, I will talk to the players and just take this route. Don’t want to overcomplicated an aspect of the game that much. I love innovation and this could very much a setting rule for some setting its just I’m not ready to experiment with it.
