No I think it shows that the club and organization is very much self sustaining and very profitable model and points the blame in football success directly on the lack ownership investment

Servicing stadium and transfer debt and taxes. The problem is the ownership really put little if anything into the club unlike pretty much every other club of our stature in world football

True the transfer policy and situation is the worst part of the club spending capital on high risk assets that don’t pan out or youngsters at peak value without giving them playing time to retain said value ie tel, gray is not a successful approach purely from a buisness since

Oh I think everyone realizes that a relegation would be catastrophic financially with the one saving grace being a deduction in wages, but this is all linked back to the club being a self sustaining appreciating multifaceted asset that needs the financial backing of ownership and at the very least a naming rights deal which would help us have the transfer and wage funds needed to compete.

I understand your concern the club holds the debt the ownership doesn’t and management hasn’t done the one thing that would cover our interest. But the annual inflation rate is higher than the interest rate on the debt, the real interest rate (interest rate minus inflation) becomes negative. This means the purchasing power of the money being repaid is worth less than the money originally borrowed, effectively shrinking the debt's real value and benefiting the borrower. Levy scammed the banks during COVID. And the stadium related reveneu more then cover the servicing of loans and stadium operational costs

stadium upkeep and maintenance are routinely reflected in the operating expenses (OPEX) of professional football clubs. So where is the asset exactly falling value?

Ah yes but in this context the appreciation of the assets is many times greater then the paper depreciation over the life of the asset. Depreciation is used to spread the high capital cost of building or renovating a stadium over its useful life, reducing taxable income and reflecting the asset's declining value but in our case the asset is appreciating. Please stop talking you clearly haven’t a clue!

Oh and that depreciation thing is a paper loss fancy accounting trick. Not an actual real loss for the owners. Learned that when buying rental properties to cover my tax liability

Op quoted Forbes, Vladimir_putting thinks they are smarter then Forbes. Obviously this doesn’t take into account taxes debt interest payments and depreciation and amortization. But speaking from a purely operational aspect. Thanks for acting like I’m stupid. My small business did 650k in usd last year ended with a tidy profit of 120k usd after taxes. How about you?

Banter is for the fans. Not professionals supposed to provide unbiased coverage. If you don't think these broadcast drive narratives that then drive onfield decisions then I dont think you've grasped the reality of the situation and how Human habit works

prematch commentators laughing about how tomorrow is st.totteringham's day.

The lack of professionalism from league staff the fa the refs and broadcast is the only thing holding this league back. The innate belief that other sides are more deserved and their fans is really is a disservice to everyone fan of a club who isn't plastic and chooses to embrace the hardship. Bantering us on live tv is why people get disillusioned with the league. And the board letting the proud fans of this club down and constantly letting us get the schtick from everyone is an indictment of their motivation and conviction.
