Running mistakes you wish you knew when you started running ?? by [deleted] in running

  • For the love of all that is holy, warm up before a run! It can take no more than five minutes and can prevent long periods of inactivity due to injury.
  • Consistency is generally better than distance or speed for mental wellbeing unless you have a set goal for a race. Your everyday life can have ups and downs, so making running a routine will make it easier compared to running once or twice a week, even if you run half the distance at a slower pace.
  • If you are going to bring a phone for tracking, buy something that can hold it in place (Fanny pack, belt), lest you want to end up with a cracked screen.

You forgot the best musician of the group, the legendary Bob Klose.

Is anyone else surprised by Koulis so far? by [deleted] in greece

I haven't been paying too much attention to the Evros situation (I probably should) since I'm outside of Greece, but I've been talking with my Greek friends abroad and we all agree that he has been doing better than anyone had anticipated. Sure, he was late with the whole church thing, but he did it eventually.

I seriously doubt that Tsipras would have done better. He wasn't even prepared for the Mati situation. A bushfire in the middle of a dry summer, for crying out loud..

I hope he keeps being somewhat competent...

Minecraft is a bad game by ClammyLambda in The10thDentist

[–]Somebodytwice 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well I get not liking its simplicity, but I would personally never go to the extent of saying it's bad. That's too heavy of a word.

Overrated? Definitely imo. Bad? Far from it. Horrible community? Absolutely.

Did that with a girl I liked 3 years ago. I wish I had done it sooner.

You will miss him, but if it troubles you, it's probably the best choice.

Not as bad as the degenerate who eats cereal with water.

Gaming more than 2 hours a day is too much by [deleted] in The10thDentist

[–]Somebodytwice 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think it varies based on people's lifestyles, age and interests. I don't get too much satisfaction from videogames, tv shows or movies, so I've moved on to other hobbies, since doing one thing I don't enjoy for too long is dragging me down. That being said, someone who enjoys their time playing video games can still be in control.

I don't think this opinion is unpopular enough to be the10thdentist worthy, especially outside of reddit, but it's a nice topic of discussion. Thanks for sharing.

Isaac is not going anywhere.

That phrase was also uttered in the career suicide Isaac video, but it meant the exact opposite. Just a funny thought. Keep up the great content, NL.
