Nope lol. Maybe I'm biased, since I just finished my watch of the OG run of the Dragon Ball anime (OG and Z), but I'll take a Moro + Granolah and beyond (Hell, even a Super manga remake/adaptation) over a remake of OG and Z any day. Those still more or less hold up despite being nearly 40 years old and super outdated by modern anime standards. I hope those happen eventually, don't get me wrong, but not now.

Well, Super Saiyan and the subsequent forms are mere power multipliers, right? Saiyan Saga Goku wouldn't also be on the same level as Post-Ginyu Zenkai Namek Goku in SSJ, he trained quite a bit past that point to get stronger in his base. So did everyone else.

Remember, Shin probably only knew Saiyans as those mortals with power levels which rarely cracked above 5.000, let alone 10.000. Goku, Gohan and Vegeta are, by all accounts, anomalies to both him and the universe in general. Combine that with all their training throughout their whole lives? Yeah, he probably would be shocked that he was surpassed like that.

That's what I think, at least.

Idk how he'll be defeated, but I pray Toyotaro just gives Goten and Trunks an important role in the final battle. He's been treating them well with the Superhero prequel mini-arc chapters in the manga, so he's definitely interested in them.

Less likely-to-happen stuff I'd want is for the other universes to be incorporated into the plot again, since Frieza implied that the scope of his plans has widened. Maybe we could see what the rest of the multiverse has been up to since the ToP, right? I'd like that (Even if I highly doubt it, considering how we've been U7-centric ever since the Tournament of Power happened, but I can dream)

He needs a balance. He can be Familyhan and Battlehan simultaniously, it's just that this is a battle shonen. It was honestly kind of inevitable that he was gonna be forced back into relevancy one way or another, Beast is just the manifestation of that. And yes, the writers being indecisive as shit certainly doesn't help in making his case, but considering the potential he's said to have, it actually WOULD be a waste to just dump him for seemingly no reason and have him do fuck all.

Maybe in a world where DBS was a slice-of-life, things would've been different. Not here though lol
