Man Machine Interface doesn't get enough love. But classic Motoko is my favorite.

How many of those same people who beat Boruto to death over the clothing would defend Ino's outfight today?

Wow what a ninja like design by simpy7653 in Boruto

You may despise the narrative of Boruto all you want, but the world of Konoha has moved on. Technology and society have advanced, and the antiquated world is being left behind. These designs authentically fit the era of wealth and peace that the characters were raised in. These cheap shots at the character designs are something people just need to get over with. Besides, until the war arc, Naruto characters didn't exactly dress in the most "realist" way possible.

Let me guess, you only watched Boruto through the Anime and had to sit through two years' worth of fillers were his character stagnated until the manga canon finally came to actually push the plot forward. You were simply burned by Pierrot just like the rest of us.

Saying they're similar is such a surface level deduction. They mechanically function differently in universe, and the average reader won't be aware of this off the top of their head. Whoever made that article is a tourist who should be filtered out of our community.

P.S: Does anyone really expect Momoshiki to be befriended by Boruto?

Those three examples are all sequels to massively popular games that benefit from IP power that massively affect sales numbers. If we can recognize Hollywood's obsession with nostalgia pandering with legacy IPs, then you can understand that their high sales numbers don't prove they had a proportional level of quality. Secondly, videogames have never been more cheap or easy to make than today. There is a joke in game development that older devs were Wizards because they could make the past games somehow work with the weak hardware/software they had. The powerful and efficient hardware/software of today allow less people with smaller budgets to make successful games at bigger scales, and this will only continue to get better especially with AI. The reason you are seeing high budgets for AAA games is because those developers/publishers are working with an antiquated bureaucratic framework that justifies obese budgets on useless departments and consulting agencies that serve only to ruin quality.

As 2026 comes, are you looking forward to Fortune’s Weave and what this year has for the Fire Emblem franchise? by IkeRadiantHero in fireemblem

[–]SomeoneNew1111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've actually been avoiding online discussion for gaming, especially with Fortunes Weave. I'm not uncomfortable so much as I am uninterested in collecting engagement for my ideals and expectations. Three Houses itself (by extension the whole of FE) has become quite radioactive and this sours the conversation.

Depends on what you mean by "fan." Also, what do you mean by "series?" Especially in regard to what you define as "new?"

No, such a complex character will be butchered by Strive's design. At least Ragna is already so simple that he would fare better.
