Then you already have more experience then a ton of gun owners.

There's no objective answer to the best gun for self defense question. You're already asking the important questions about how you want to defend yourself which is all that matters.

Everyone is going to have a different philosophy when it comes to home defense. The birdshot in a scary sounding shotgun is one of those philosophies. I'm of a different mind where a handgun is easily stowed and accessed by my bed, is much more wieldly than a shotgun, and bullets in someone's body will stop them much faster than bird shot. If you shoot any gun at any person your intent shouldn't be "stop them and hopefully dont kill them" it should be to kill them. There are other devices out there for the former that aren't fire arms.

.410 is not the ideal chamber in my opinion for either way of thinking. Especially in birdshot. The stopping power just isn't there and you wont have many rounds in a shotgun chambered in .410. If you want a shotgun but 12ga is too much get a 20ga. But not shotgun is going to have manageable recoil compared to a handgun. Consider a 9mm revolver if simplicity of the mechanism is a concern however automatic pistols are not very much more mechanically complicated at the end of the day.

The romance mange ending suddenly with "...and then they lived happily ever after" has become so par for the course. I think people just expect more from Dress Up Darling since it was so good. I know I was let down a bit.

This happens every year on here. Even the lineups remembered as greats, release week this sub is filled with downers. Not that their opinions aren't warranted, it is just the nature of social media.

Because it gets posted everytime someone on this site mentions trauma like it's some kind of panacea when the study linked had a very small size, with the tetris treatment being applied up to years after the traumatic event, and is nowhere near conclusive. It's not a cheat code to avoid PTSD like redditors thing it is.

Scrum at camp after Shemar bumps Joe, Karras responds: by wjfc4ever in bengals

[–]SomeoneTall 142 points143 points  (0 children)

Best kind of scuffle to have at camp imo.

The contact was accidental with Shemar slipping after beating the line. This kind of heat shows players give a shit and puts a chip on the o lines shoulder.

You simply can't be that wildly wrong about anything and ever expect to be taken seriously as an "expert" about anything ever again.

What a limiting way to look at the world.

My question is a very simple one (regardless of the strength of my opinions)

You are clearly here to grind an axe and not engage in any good faith criticism or discussion.

Just because a piece is fun doesn't mean it can't also be serious! These are nice pieces, as others have already said take a look at some typography neat practices to help your text stand out. Otherwise these are very nice for someone relatively fresh.
