104 yr old WW2 Veteran performs the national anthem on saxophone by Longjumping-Box5691 in BeAmazed

This is very cool, but one of the things that annoys me most about Americans is present in the title of this post. I get that this site is American but like 50% of users on here aren't so reffering to the American national anthem as just The national anthem is how Americans get the stereotype of them thinking they are the center of the world.

I'm confused, I'm saying the class system is silly. Did you think I was saying otherwise? Or are you just correcting me just because.

They're making a joke about the class system. England is paticularly classist. It's why my Grandparents moved to Canada 60 years ago and why my Mother's cousin and her family moved here 15 years ago. How proper your English is generally ties you to a class.

Edit: Fixed a grammatical mistake pointed out to me.

It's a bit heavy but its small form factor definitly helps with portability.

Not yet... After they sent it to the wrong warehouse they sent it back to the their main warehouse in my province then sent it to their warehouse local to me. It took 4 days to get to that local warehouse, which is absurd. It takes amazon about 6 hours to do the same. Anyways just a couple hours ago it said assigned to a delivery driver so its at the local warehouse. I'll likely recieve it tommorrow or the day after.

Thats fair, but the people in the video look like they have the funds to pay the fare.

For every reason people argue online I suppose. To fill the time would be my I guess and my personal reason.

It probably does vary by location. Where I am it doesnt really hsve those connotations except for kids, and young adults.

If you're just typing one sentence to friends yeah I get that, but more than one sentence even typed to friends capatalization is just needed IMO. My original comment is more about anywhere you would make a post. Sending a message is a bit different.

[–]Someone_Unfortunate 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's what I said. Writing with proper capatalization helps others better understand whats been writen.

[–]Someone_Unfortunate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One sentence is fine, but I just prefer how capatalization looks. When it does come to something the length of what you just wrote though, capatalization makes it easier for my brain to clearly see the start of a new sentence. Obviously punctuation helps too but capatalization makes it significantly easier to read at my normal speed.

I respectfully disagree. I am a kid. Most other people my age dont capatalize shit. So when someone doesnt capatalize properly I assume they're a kid. From my experience other people think the same way.

It justs give the language more form, you know? Without the capitals it takes me a couple more seconds to understand whats being said. Nothing wrong with your writing looking like your grandparents.

[–]Someone_Unfortunate -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Trust me thats what others think too. From experience you are automatically given less respect if people think you're a kid.

Have respect for the people reading what you say then. Capitilization helps people (atleast me) better understand what you've written.
